Cousin Lacey came over last night for a visit. She decided that the bouncer was hers and fit perfectly in it. She was holding Presley getting ready for her sister, Shelby, who arrives in the next few weeks. Cash and Presley are very lucky because they already have 14 cousins!! 
Miss Presley this morning. After her feeding she was so alert. She loves to look around with her big blue eyes. 
Yesterday, we took them grocery shopping. They are just too cute in their little car seats. It takes even longer to shop because everyone has to stop and look at them. Travis and I each had a cart. One baby in each cart. I haven't quite figured out how I am going to do it alone. Just carrying both carriers is hard. I will definately have good arm muscles! She reminds us of Maggie from the Simpson's when she has her binky in her mouth.
Cash, aka, Mr. McFuss Pants loves his binky! I don't know what parents did before binkies were invented. Mommy and Daddy go in panic mode whenever his binky cannot be located. He also goes in panic mode with loud cries whenever it falls out of his mouth. He is actually quite good at holding it in himself.

The babies are already 19 days old! I have been so terrible at getting some pics up on the site, I promise I'll do that today. Already they are getting so big and changing! Both of them have become so alert, looking around with their big eyes. I think Presley looks like Travis and Cash looks like me. She has Travis's exact hair and has his little head and round body. Where as Cash is more long and lean like his mommy. He also has curly and lighter hair like his mom. They both are the most perfect babies ever!!
Yesterday, Travis and I took them out to their first restaurant experience! We went to The Roadhouse Grill and Jim and Shannon were nice enough to treat us to dinner. (Thank you!!!) This was the first time we ever went to dinner at 4:30, we were trying to beat the dinner rush because we didn't want them to cry. Luckily they slept through the meal until the very end, Cash got a little fussy.
Last night also was a fabulous sleep night! The twins went down at 10:30, then woke up at 3 am, then again at 7am. They let mom and dad get 7 hours of sleep!! Yea! A change from the night before, when they were up every hour!! Let's pray this sleep pattern continues............
They had their 2 week dr. appt this week also. They are back up to their birth weights. Presley weighed 6.31/2 lbs and 19 inches long and Cash weighed 7.2lbs and was 21 inches long. So, they've gained weighed and grown:) We go back again this Wednesday.
My dad and Maureen came over on Thursday to help out while Travis was working. It was nice to have the help. They came and helped out and cooked us dinner:) My mom is coming on Monday and she is going to let Travis and I go out to dinner w/out babies to celebrate my birthday (March 7th). Yea. I may even splurge and have a whole glass on wine:)
Other than that....mostly just feeding, changing diapers, etc. I'll put some pics up today.

Presley was just laying in the headrest with her finger like this. It was just too funny to pass up. Those are head rests that you use on airplanes and they just fit their little heads perfectly!
Presley passed out after getting weighed at the dr.'s office. She loves her "Binky"!!
Cash also passed out in the dr.'s office. I was so surprised that they were sleeping because they just had been weighed and they hate being naked.
Travis and Alayna at the Dr.'s office. They had their appointment on Monday. Cash weighed 6 lbs 13 oz. and Presley weighed 5 lbs 13 ozs. Perfect and healthy little babies:) I can't even believe how time flies........the babies are already 10 days old!!
Last night we had our first "good" night. The babies went to bed and stayed asleep and didn't cry! They woke up every 3 hours for a feeding and diaper change, so thankfully they let Mom and Dad get at least 6-7 hours of sleep! Hopefully this lasts........we'll see.
Every day it seems to get easier. We are getting used to feeding, changing diapers, and handling them. We are trying to keep them up more during the day and using their swings and bouncers. They love to look around.
Yesterday was the first time I got to leave the house since they were born besides going to the Dr. on Monday. I hadn't driven my car in almost 2 weeks and I splurged and went to Fred Meyer by myself. It was weird not being pregnant and seeing people I knew without a huge belly and people asking me when I was due?
People have been so nice, stopping by bringing food, so thankfully I haven't had to cook! It's been wonderful!
The body is slowing going back to normal. I actually tried to fit into my jeans yesterday, obviously just to torture myself. I could put them on, I just couldn't button them. Soon though.......
The babies are doing so well! Getting bigger and bigger. I just still can't believe that Travis and I made these beautiful little people. We just feel so blessed to have these little bundles of joy.
The night before last was a brutal night. Cash and Presley cried until 4 am and I literally thought I was going to go nuts. But then, I woke up in the morning (they didn't wake up until 11 am because they had a crying hangover, so we did get some sleep:)) and went in and looked at them sleeping so peacefully, it was worth it. They are just so innocent.
Well, I gotta go and get in the shower. I actually think this is my favorite part of the day!
Oh, my cell phone has been broken for the past few days, so that is why I haven't been calling or returning phone calls. Travis is going today to get me an new one!
