Mad Lady.

Oh, I feel so sorry for her. She got all dressed up to go out to a nice dinner with Grandma and Grandpa.
All dressed up for her play date at Ryder's house. Every few weeks we get together with a some friends and their little boys. Poor little Presley is the only girl and the only one who doesn't walk. Cash now fits in since he's walking.

Shop Till U Drop

Too much shopping, too much playing.

Playtime at Bell Square.

On Wednesday we tagged along with Daddy over to Seattle. While he worked, we met Alison and Carter at Bellevue Square and did a little playing and shopping. The twins just loved playing in the play area and they also were lucky enough to snag some new shoes at Nordstrom!:)

Joys of Motherhood.....

This may sound weird....but I actually miss those days of bottlefeeding my children. I remember when I was so happy when they started rice cereal and then on to baby food. It was such a joy to watch them get excited about eating rice cereal with bananas or sweet potatoes.

Now that the babies are 11.5 months old, they don't like to be fed anymore...so yea, no more babyfood! It gets expensive when you have to buy for two babies and formula for two babies! But, I have soon discovered that they are picky little eaters. Is it bad to feed my kids macaroni and cheese and grilled cheese sandwiches??? Actually, they eat other foods, but I feel like that is all they eat.

Now...the babies refuse their bottles (they are still on formula until they turn 1..2 weeks), so I thought to maybe give them soy milk. They won't take a bottle anymore. How am I supposed to give them all their calcium and vitamins if they don't take a bottle?

Oh, another thing.....Presley loves to rub her food into her hair. Seriously.....at the end of her meal, she looks like Ace Ventura. Arg.......I am typing this as they are rubbing macaroni and cheese all over their trays and having it fall onto the floor, then they laugh as the dogs wipe it up.

I remember thinking to myself before and while I was pregnant that I promised myself that I would be a cute housewife....not to let myself go. Well, as I go days without doing anything to myself, I feel as I have turned into a "homely housewife".

I asked Travis last night if he thought I was a "homely housewife" and he kept ignoring the question....finally he said, "he thinks I am prettier now, after I have had kids." So, with that response I am thinking 2 things: 1.) He's being sweet and a good husband and 2.) Was I that not cute before? I think it was a trick question. It's kinda like asking, "Does my butt look big in these pants?"

Anyways, now that I look at my kids, Presley has macaroni and cheese hanging off her eyelashes...I must go start a bath:))

Ahhhhh, at least it's Tuesday night and i get to indulge in "Housewives of Orange County."

My Prescious Presley!

She started waving "bye bye" to daddy when he leaves!! The kids stand at the windows to say goodbye.

Presley pushes her baby in her stroller. Hopefully this will help Presley learn to walk. She can stand on her own, but she hates to fall, so she prefers to crawl.

She's just a little diva....cell phone, fur coat.....i can hardly wait until she's 16. It'll be my fault...I just love to spoil them:))

My babies are getting all grown up!

11 Months.....

New Ladybug outfit:) Presley loves her ladybugs! Her hair is sticking up bc she now has enough hair for cute little pony tails, but she pulled it out right before i took this. Now her hair looks like her daddy's hair....
They are both obsessed with sippy cups. They love drinking out of them and we just started to ones with straws.

The poor dogs never get a break. Travis was trying to teach them not to eat the dog food. They weren't very good students. Cash is loves to eat dog food, so the poor dogs only get their food during nap times:((

Here is a pic of Cash walking. He's getting so cute and loves to walk! He just feels so proud of himself. He is now pulling himself up and walking on his own. I know it's just a matter of weeks before his crawling days are behind him!

Presley loves her activity center that plays music. She's always shaking her little booty dancing.
Today the twinnies turn 11 months. I can't believe how fast it goes. I know I say that every month, but it's true. 1 more month and the twins are 1!!! Yea. I made it:)) They both are doing so well and learning things everyday. Cash is walking, where Presley can stand, but doesn't like to fall, so she prefers to crawl. She loves music and is quite the little dancer and loves to clap her hands. You tell her to, "Clap your hands", and she'll start clapping away. They are sleeping really good, going down at 8 and waking up around 7-8am!! Yea! They also love love love to eat!! They don't like to be fed anymore and prefer eating their food themselves. They're favorites are pancakes, grilled cheese sandwiches, peaches, pears, bananas, toast with butter and jelly, macaroni & cheese, green beans, pirate's booty, string cheese, eggs, etc. Basically, they eat everything.
I am planning their party for next month. I ordered the invites and got photostamps....they are so cute! I also just bought their presents. We got them a cute Radio Flyer horse they can ride and lots of puzzles, blocks, and a new dolly (for Presley)! Also, they have the cutest toy store in here in town and unfortunately they are discontinuing their See Kai Run shoes, so they all were 40% off!!! I bought 4 pairs for super cheap!!! I just love new shoes!:)
We desperately need a bigger house with a seperate room for their toys. I should move their room into the guest room because it's bigger, but I just love my guest room and how it's decorated. Travis and I are going to start to look for land to build a house. I just want to wait for the market to get better before we put our house for sale. With this economy the way it is, Travis luckily has been so busy! He just finished 1 house and is in the middle of 3 others, plus he's got 3 more this spring!! I am so proud of him. He's stressed out a lot, but it allows me to not work and to stay home with the kids!!

2009.....A New Year!!

This New Year's Eve, we spent it at home, inviting a few friends and family over to celebrate! Since we have the babies now, it's hard to find time to have night's out, so we made lots of yummy food and really yummy drinks! It was the perfect way to toast in the New Year!

The best SIL's ever...Monica and Lana!
2008 was by far my most favorite year of all.....Cash and Presley arrived!! It has been the best, yet the most challenging year of my life! It's hard trying to figure the whole parenting thing, especially when you have 2! Luckily, I think I have managed pretty well and most of all, I survived.....Travis and survived together and we still love each other and we are even talking about have 1 more.....(maybe).
2009 will also be a fun year. The twinnies turn the big 1 and I turn the big 3-0! Today I started to plan the twinnies party. It amazes me that they are turning 1! Everyday they learn something new and are turning into such little people! I also can't believe I am going to enter my 30's. Growing up, I thought 30 was old, now I don't think that at all! I am planning a nice little getaway, just Travis and I, for some R & R. I don't need a party....I want delicious food, sleep, and spa treatments...oh, and throw in a new handbag that I have my eye on! Also, we are venturing back to Minnesota in April, so just surviving that trip will be nice. Also...Bergen: you better get married in Mexico, so I can have an excuse for a vacation!!!!!
This year I made some resolutions that I might try to stick with...nothing too drastic.
1. Drink more water!
2. No sugar.
3. Run...a lot!
4. Start scrapbooking since I have everything...I just need to find the time.
5. Talk Travis into building me my dream home!
Happy 2009 to all my friends and family! I hope this year brings you tons of happiness and new adventures. It's been hard to see everyone since my life has been a bit chaotic trying to figure this whole being a mom thing, however, I think I have it down pretty good that I promise to be better about keeping in touch and spending time with everyone!
I am so lucky to have such a wonderful family and great friends!!

Christmas Again!

My mom came over to see the babies and shower them with gifts, because she hadn't seen them since before Christmas due to the awful weather Seattle was experiencing. The twins had so much fun unwrapping presents and playing with their new toys!!!

New Cut

Cash has been having a few accidents. Now that he's crawling, climbing and walking, he's an accident waiting to happen! Notice his upper lip.....a few days ago, he got his first fat lip. He fell into the corner of a door. Of course it was on daddy's watch! He also has a bruise on his cheek and a little rash around his mouth from all this dry winter weather over here. Poor little man...but, he's still adorable!

Cash's First Haircut!

I couldn't take his whispy baby hair anymore, so he finally got his first haircut! He did such a good job! He just sat in the chair and let Crystal cut away. He looks so much more like a little boy, rather than a baby. They grow up so fast!

Cash's First Steps!

We've been working on walking with both the twins, but Cash is catching on a bit faster. This night he took his first 4 steps!! Everyday he does it more and more, so I know it's just a matter of time before he takes of running!

PS. Excuse my lovely outfit.....
