Merry Merry Christmas.

Lots 'o presents!

Cash's beloved "Buzz". He's obsessed with this toy.

Violet loved crawling amongst the presents.

Presley wanted a Barbie, a Barbie car and a Barbie house. She got all 3. Happy girl.

Me and my new apron.

Travis and his new boots.

We had a successful lazy day. Presley is a professional present unwrapper. Kids were given lots of toys. Travis spoiled me with lots of clothes, new boots, jewelry and my mom gave me a Cuisanart mixer (wahoo!), Travis got some new boots, gift cards and boy toys...we are all very lucky. Stayed in pajamas all day, watched Bolt 2 times, ate dinner at Travis's mom's house and were in bed by 8pm, but then awoken at 10pm with 3 screaming kids all sick! Fun times can only last so long!

Christmas Eve.

We hosted Christmas Eve at our house this year, between my family and Travis's family we had 40+ people over. All of the 17 grandkids, so you can imagine the chaos. But, fun was had, drinks were consumed, and food was eaten.
Trying to get a family pic....unsuccessful.

Of course I waited until the last minute to wrap presents and was up until 2am doing so.....I was exhausted to say the least!

Carter turns 2!

Little Carter bug turned 2 a few weeks back. I still can't believe how fast time flies! We celebrated, ate cupcakes, and played. We tried to get a group photo at the end of the party, but it was obvioulsy a challenge...this was as best we could get. Between Hailey, Ali and I, we have 8 kids! There were probably about 20 kids in total, so you imagine the chaos.

Baby V and I.

The birthday boy!

Cash hates his pic taken.

Little Carter blowing out his candles!

Early Xmas.

We opened gifts at my dad's a few weeks back, since they'll be out of town on Xmas. The kiddos lucked out and got some great goodies and here are a few pics from the day.

Snow Day.

It snowed 9 inches on Saturday, so Sunday we ventured out. The kiddos loved the snow!!

seventh month.

Another month down. Violet is crawling on all fours everywhere. She's eating like a little champ. Love to chew on her toes. Loves to play in the playroom. Loves her baths. Loves to watch her brother and sister play. Is full of smiles. Loves her mama. And drumroll please......she takes a bottle now! Wahoo!

Burlesque.

omg...i went and saw this movie last night and it was AMAZING! I loved every second. I can't wait for it to come out on DVD. Oh how I wished I could sing........

Ruffle Butt.

My sweet baby V is 7 months on the 6th....I am so sad! I just don't want this little muffin to grow up. I'd love if she'd stay 2 months forever. She's crawling EVERYWHERE, which totally blew me away and I was not prepared for this!
I cannot get enough of ruffle butt tights. Soooo cute.

She's obsessed with the tree.

I was in the middle of getting the twins ready to go to the library today and I look over and I saw this. I melted. Seriously...does it get any cuter than this?

Snow Day.

We've had snow in Ellensburg for the past few weeks, but the kids have yet to go outside to play in it. It takes me 20 minutes just to get everyone bundled for about 15 minutes of play, then another 20 minutes getting everyone out of their clothes and to get cleaned up. So, when the snowflakes starting coming down, it took me a few weeks to get the energy to actually make it outside to play. Plus, I was totally unprepared for snow weather, so both kids have high water snow pants. I hate snow. I am over it. I want the sunshine back. The kids NEED to go outside to play!!!!

Santa Train.

I've been excited to take the kids on the Santa Train at Snoqualmie, since their love for Thomas is HUGE! I bought tickets for last year, but we weren't able to make it since both kids were sick with the flu (the most awful week last year, I vividly remember it!). Getting packed up, dressed, fed and out the door with 3 kids is no easy task. So...obviously we missed our scheduled 12pm departure, but they kindly let us take the 1pm Train. Whew.....

Cash marched right up to Santa and told him what he wanted. He wants a garbage truck, a buzz light year and a gun. Presley however didn't want anything to do with him, but managed to tell Santa that she wanted a Barbie, a Barbie car and a Barbie house. I am taking the kids to Bellevue Square this weekend, so hopefully she'll sit on his lap!
Ok....if any of you are thinking of taking your kids on this Santa Train, I personally think it's a waste of time and money. It costs $16 to wait in line to ride a 5 minute train, then wait in line to get a cup of hot cocoa, then wait in line to see Santa, spend $45 on a couple train toys for your kids and then finally wait in another line to take the 5 minute train ride back to your car. We definately will not make this a part of our holiday tradition.

Thanksgiving Fun.

We loaded up the car and headed to my mom's on Thursday. We made it successfully considering the constant snowfall we've experienced in the past few weeks. With Travis taking the driving responsibilities and me in the passenger seat with my egg nog latte(addicted!) and US Weekly in hand, it was a good drive. Kids played. We got the walker out of my mom's attic.

The twins spent majority of the time pushing Violet around. It was a nice break for me:)

"Trying" to get a good pic. Obvious FAIL.

Cash cleaned up after dinner.

And we watched lots of movies. The Grinch that Stole Christmas in the new favorite.
We didn't get a chance to see my dad, which was sad. He was sick and didn't want to be around the kiddos while he wasn't feeling good. Travis and I did some shopping Friday morning. Gap had 50% off and Gymboree had 30% and I had a additional 25% off, so I went a little nuts. Oh I love holiday shopping....

Sleeping Buddies.

So I bought 2 full size beds, bought new bedding for both, and Cash successfully took his first nap in his "big boy bed", but now they insist on sleeping together. I think it's the cutest thing ever. Twins are such a gift.

Singing in the Rain.

Gwyneth Paltrow is my favorite actress. I love it that she was on Glee and I just love watching this rendition of Umbrella/Singing in the rain. I am also super excited to see her on the big screen singing country music, which surprisingly she's actually really good.

Big kid beds.

Well.....the twinnies are in big beds now! Travis and I painted the room yesterday and set up their beds today. It's still a work in progress. My mom will be making them custom headboards and bed skirts and I am still getting the decorations completed. But, they had their first successful nap today! Wahoo............

They are so excited! Finally, Violet will be moving into Presley's crib!!

Peas Please?

She loves her food! But Peas....not so much.

Ryder turns 3!

We celebrated Ryder's 3rd birthday. The twins LOVE parties. They LOVE cake. They LOVE opening presents. Cooper, Cash, Presley, Gracie and Ryder.

We love Ryder!

Ryder got a camera and was quite the photog!
