Twinnie Tornado.

I swear I clean.  I sometimes feel like it's all I do.  The cleaning ladies were here yesterday and this is what my house looked like this morning.  3 kids under the age of 3...holy hell it's a lot of work.  I can't even begin to describe it.  I feel like all I do is prepare meals.  In the morning, it's breakfast, feed them, clean up, then they want snacks.  Then it's lunch time, clean it up, then they want snacks.  It's dinner time, I make it, clean it up, then they want snacks.  I NEVER get to sit down and enjoy my meal.  Then the dogs need food.  Then Travis comes home, makes a mess and somehow doesn't know how to clean up after himself.  He's like a giant child.  I am constantly picking up after him also.  On top of feeding them, I am constantly changing diapers or taking one to the potty.  Then I have to get them all dressed and don't even get me started on laundry.  It's ridiculous.  Ahhh...it's Wednesday and Kelsey comes this afternoon!  Thank goodness.

Dog Whisperer.

The dogs don't leave this poor girl alone when she's eating.  She's already very good at sharing her food with them, which is probably the reason they don't leave her alone.

Before I had kids, these dogs were my kids.  I was obsessed with them.  Now, I sometimes consider putting them on Craigslist.  Kidding...sorta.  Poor Lily and Lucy.

Little Sister.

She's not so little anymore....getting bigger and bigger.  Almost a year.  I am already planning her party.  It'll be at Bounce Central and I am so excited!

Spring Artwork.

Presley's Spring Bouquet!  Dollar Store has some great finds for crafts.

I was thinking of ways to display the kiddos artwork.  I was looking at these at The Land of Nod.  So, instead of spending the money, I modge podged glitter to  clothes pins and strung them up in the playroom.  Now the kiddos can display their artwork!

Some of my new favs....

Sally Hansen Salon Effects.  Amazing.  They last a few weeks on my nails, even while I am washing my hands 100 times a day.  LOVE them!

Urban Decay's Naked Palette.  Love this!  I am not big into products, mainly because I only wear makeup maybe 2 times a week and luckily I have pretty good skin.  This palette has such a great combination of colors...I literally gasped with excitement when I got this!!

New addition to the Gibson Family!

Her name is Kelsey.  She's our new babysitter!  I finally did it.  A few weeks ago, I put an ad on cwu's job board, looking for a babysitter.  I wanted to find a Freshman, someone who could be with the kids for a few years.  I got tons of response, probably about 50+ resumes, narrowed it down and found Kelsey!

This week was her first week.  She worked on Monday and Wednesday from 3-6, then she'll come again this Saturday, so Trav and I can have a date night.  It was wonderful.  I went to the gym, had a great workout, then ran some errands.  This kids loved her.  Presley walked around on Tuesday following our cleaning lady, telling her all about her new babysitter.  She also was telling the lady at the jewelry store about her too.  After Kelsey left on Monday, Cash was talking about how pretty she was...he must have a new crush!

Anyways, it's such a nice relief!  She'll definately become a regular in the Gibson household.. Mama needs a break, especially since Travis is working crazy hours and coaching baseball.  I feel like I am alone most of the time.  He leaves early in the morning, then doesn't come home until 7pm, helps get the kids to bed, then back to work at 8pm until 3am most nights.  Poor guy.

Baseball Season Begins...

This is Travis's 2nd year coaching baseball with his brother.  They had their 1st game yesterday.  We went, we froze, we left after 10 minutes.  Please Spring, come sooner rather than later.  I am ready for some sunshine!!

10 Months.

10 months!  I can't believe it.   Violet is amazing.  The BEST baby EVER!  I can honestly say that because she's perfect.  She hardly makes a peep.  Plays so perfectly.  It's such a joy to have her around.  She sleeps through the night.  Takes 2 naps.  Is super easy to put down, hardly ever cries.  Loves to eat food.  Doesn't like baby food anymore, but is getting the hang of eating foods now.  Loves her sippy cups.  Is standing on her own, but no steps yet.  Loves her bath time.  Loves the park.  Loves the baby Ergo.  Has 3 teeth, 2 on the bottom and 1 on top.  Loves to wrestle with her brother.  Tries to be a big kid with Cash and Presley...wants so desperately to play with them.  Loves her bottles now!  She's a peanut, still wears her 3-6 month clothes.  She looks just like her daddy.  I love her.

Park fun.

Now that the weather isn't freezing, we've been escaping the walls of the house to the park.  I have been hesitant to go anywhere for fear that one of the kids will get sick again.  EVERYONE has been sick.  RSV is running wild in Ellensburg.  Now that the snow is gone, a little fresh air is nice.

Hide and Seek

Try real hard....can you find the twins?  We probably play Hide & Seek 555 times a day.  You'd think by now, they probably get a little bit more creative in their hiding spots.  Apparently not.

Princess Presley.

This picture was taken at 8am...
...and this was at noon.

We've already been through 2 princess outfits so far today.  She puts them on when she wakes up and they don't come off until bathtime.  She even naps with them on.  I love it.

32-Wahoo.

I feel like sometimes it's easy for me to forget that I have a life outside of my children.  So, for my birthday, Travis and I did our annual trip up to Suncadia to celebrate my birthday.  I spent my first night away from Violet.  I just find it so hard to be away from her.  She's growing so fast, I feel like if I am not with her, I'll miss some milestone that I'll never beable to witness ever again, since she is my last baby.  We got massages, sat in the spa, sipped champagne, at a delicious dinner at the winery, went to The Brick, ate breakfast in bed, and watched movies.  I love my alone time spent with Travis.  I couldn't drive home fast enough....an low and behold, I scooped Violet up and POOF another tooth popped through when I was gone!  Her top tooth is now peeking through.  See...I leave for one night.  I've only been 32 for 4 days, but I can tell you, it's my favorite year so far.  I feel contentment.  I am exactly who I want to be.

Twinnies birthday.

More pictures from the twinnies birthday celebration at my Dad's house.  I still can't believe they are 3.  Where does the time go?

Play time!

Since we've been having a snow storm the past few days, we've been having to get creative with activites around the house.  On top of bad weather, it seems everyone is sick.  Cancelled playdates due to sick kids and snow.....I am ready for summer!

Early Birthday.

My birthday is next Monday, but Travis gave me my gift early.

Shower time.

The kiddos are really into taking showers lately.  Cash could sit in the shower all day long if I let him.

Playing Princess.

Playing Princess with Presley.  Notice Cash in the background...naked, playing with his guns.  Boys are completely wired differently than girls.  He won't go anywhere near Presley's Princess outfits.  She keeps talking about how she wants Cash to be a "King", but he won't play.
