It's official. I am completely 100% obsessed with blogging. I could seriously blog all day. I go from one blog to another and by the time I know it, the babies are waking up from their nap and I got aboslutely nothing done. The laundry is piling up on top of the dryer, in baskets, the dishes need to be done, my treadmill has not been turned on, and I am still in my pajamas. What has happened?????? I may need an intervention soon.

Cash just loved Alison! She's 5 months pregnant and she's having a boy, Carter Nicholas!! It was so nice having both Amber and Alison over. They were such a help with the kids while Travis was out of town. I'd be simple-10 hours of sleep in a row. Seriously, is that too much to ask for? So, Travis the lucky duck that he is, went to the Tri-Cities for a bachelor party and left me here by myself. Sad, I know. Remember a few posts ago I went bragging about how the kids are sleeping through the night, BIG MISTAKE!! I jinxed myself and little miss Presley loves to get up in the middle of the night. Last night I tried to go to bed early at 9:30 and she woke up at 11, 1:30 and 5am! Ahhhhh. I am so tired. Now it's 8:30am and they are back to sleep, but I am so wired on coffee that I can't sleep.
So please...can someone get married to I can leave for a weekend for a bachelorette party?? hint hint Patrick.

Travis just recently started his own custom home building company, Nine Pine Developments in May. He's already started 2 homes and here are some pics, both are in the early stages. I am so proud of him!! We went to Grandma's/Grandpa's house this past weekend to visit with my aunt and cousin's from Iowa. We left on Wednesday, stopped off at Heather's house, so she could see the twins, then headed straight to my dad's for dinner. On the way home, from my dad's to my mom's, Cash decided it would be fun if he SCREAMED the entire way home, about 20 minutes! AHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! I thought I was never going to make it, the music couldn't entirely drown out the sound, so I drove as fast as I possibly could. Got inside, gave him a bath, bottle, then bed! Whew......
On Thursday, we went to Babies R Us to get their photos done! They turned out as perfect as they could and I was very pleased. Bergen came to visit for a bit, then we had sushi at my favorite place ever, Hana Sushi in Bothell. We used to go there every Wednesday night with my dad and Maureen, but we hadn't been since we moved to Ellensburg.
Friday, Alison and I ventured out to the Nordstrom sale while my mom babysat the babies. It was the first time I have gone to mall without the babies, it felt weird. I got some fun goodies:) Then we went to the country club for dinner. The babies did quite well, then 1/2 way through dinner, they fell asleep!!
Saturday we went the Kirkland Art Fesitival, which was fun and it turned out to be a really nice day. The babies loved being pushed around in the stroller. Travis had to meet with clients, so he wasn't able to come with. Then we bbq'd at my dad's.
Such an eventful weekend, at least for the babies. Life has changed, I was in bed every night at 10pm. The babies have been exhausted since we've been home. This weekend Alison is coming to stay with us for Jazz in the Valley, while Daddy goes to Chelan for a bachelor party (not fair)!!!
BOY!!!!! I am so happy for her! I was hoping for a girl, since everyone I know has boys, but we've already planned it.......Carter (what she'll name him) and Presley will get married, Alison will plan it and we'll pay for it!!
Congrats Eric and Ali!! I know you'll be wonderful parents and our babies will love each other!

My mom was smart and kept a lot of my younger sister's toys, so this weekend we brought out the walker, which both babies loved. 
Presley is in love with her "Ladybug"! It's the only thing that calms her down and she has to have it for car rides and nap times. She's so cute with it.
Sissy is rubbing brother's head. It's so fun to watch them interacting with eachother. It's amazing because you can just tell they love eachother. I know they'll be bestie's growing up.

I went to go and pick up Cash from his nap and this is what I saw. He was banging his feet against the mirror and had his binky in his hand. He's so funny. He is always moving around and rolling over in his bed. 
The twins have been having lots of tummy time lately since they love to roll all over the floor. They are so good at rolling over and it's hilarious to watch because she'll be trying to roll over and he'll be right next to her and she'll just start cyring and getting mad. It's funny to watch. They have been really starting to acknowledge each other.
Lunch time! Both the twins love to eat! They've tried, pears, bananas, carrot, sweet potatoes, prunes and peas. So far they like everything.

This is Presley when she's mad. She's got such a little temper, but of course she would, she's a girl. The twins turned 5 months on Saturday. We celebrated by playing in our new little pool. (Sorry, no pics.....I know, bad mom!) They both loved it soooooooo much and I can't wait until we start our swim lessons next month! They can't quite sit up yet, so Mommy and Daddy had to get in the pool with them. Uncle Austin and Julie came over for the day to see the babies. It was a nice little visit!
Friday night we went over to Ryder's (Courtney and Casey's) house for dinner and the twinnies were perfect little angels while the Mom's and Dad's visited. We had the yummiest drinks ever.............Margarita Floats. They were the best drinks ever and I am not a fan of tequila!! They were tequila, lime juice, triple sec, and tonic water, then the mixture was poured over lime sherbert!! Soooo good!!
On Sunday, I thought since we've lived in our house for over 2 years now, I might as well start painting. So, I bought paint for the master bath and an accent wall in our bedroom. Ohmigosh.......now I know why I DON"T paint and why I am going to pay someone to paint the rest of my house. This project exhausted me!!! However, the final project looked good, I thought. But, my little builder of a husband told me that if I was his paint contractor, he'd wouldn't pay me a dime until I fixed blah, blah, blah, blah.............the list went on. I told him, well maybe you should have helped me and that is why I don't paint for a living. Oh well, I did it all by myself and I love it!!! Whatever..........
The babies and I are venturing over to Seattle today. My aunt and cousins are coming over from Iowa and we are going to visit. Also, the babies are getting their pictures taken tomorrow morning and of course....the Nordstrom Sale on Friday:) Travis is coming on Friday to meet us because he's got to work.

The babies are growing like little weeds!!!! I already have tubs of clothes they've grown out of. It makes me sad that their cute little clothes no longer fit, that is why I am going to refuse to spend lots of $$$ on their clothes, it's such a waste. They wear them a few times, then they don't fit. Soo sad!! So Ali, you have your pic to lots of clothes! My little man is wanting to crawl, but he's not strong enough. They've slept through the night for the past 2 weeks, but Presley has had a few nights where she'll wake up around 4am. We've been quite successful at our bedtime routine.....bath, bottle, bed at 8pm. They go down wide awake, but quickly fall asleep without a peep. Such perfect little babies!!! I am so lucky to have such good babies. It definately makes having 2 easier. People always say, "Oh, it must be so much work??" But actually, it's not yet. It's actually quite easy, but that is easy to say now when they aren't moving around. Come back in a few months and I'll probably sing a different tune! I am still so happy being a mom. I have my days when I daydream as to what it was like before the babies and I quickly snap back and am soooooooo much happier now.
Anyways, back to my life............a professional housewife/mom!!
This is what your family room looks like when you have twins. You need 2 of everything. Now that they are getting older, you need to entertain them. So, Travis has taken over my living room with his office, now the twins have taken over my family room.
Presley is just full of personality and she's absolutely hilarious. She just starting rolling from her back to her tummy and she LOVES LOVES LOVES to do it! It's quite funny!

So, I am completely 100% obsessed with Guitar Hero. It's bad. I have no control over my addiction. I am getting so good, so I just keep going and going and going. My mom and I played all weekend. The boys didn't even want to play, just mom and I. We're crazy.

We spent the 4th of July weekend in Winthrop at my parents townhome. The weather was perfect, not too hot, not too cold. We took the babies to the lake on Saturday to see if they'd like the water. Presley loved it! She loved putting her toes into the sand, however Cash did not like the water. Cash looks like an old man in this pic, he's so cute. 
I am on my parents computer and was looking through old pics and I found this one of my belly the night before I gave birth. It's crazy to think my belly got this big and now it's down to what it was at before. It still amazes me.
