More 6 weeks pics!

Cash is a little puker after he eats, so he has to wear bibs all the time now.
After i feed Presley in the morning, she lays with me in bed after Travis goes to work. We watch the Today show together. This is my favorite time of day with her. She's always so alert and loves Matt Lauer:) Lucy loves her little sister!

Another one of Cash's bibs. I had to go out and buy him a bunch of new ones, so he can cordinate with his outfits.
I just took this picture of them this morning. Two little angels. I still can't believe that we have 2 babies. Last night however, Cash was NOT a little angel. He kept his mom and dad up from 2-4am and of course now, at 9am, he's completely asleep. Yesterday, Grandpa Dennis and Grandma Maureen came over and we went to our favorite restuarant, The Valley Cafe. The twins slept perfectly in their car seats while we ate. Mommy has a bridal shower today, so hopefully they will be good for daddy!!

Auntie Alayna came over for Easter. Little Presley was very fussy and she immediately falls fast asleep when she's put her BabyBjorn! Baby Bjorn's are worth every penny. She's got her little "boots with the fur" on. A gift from Lauren:)

On her way to her first time at daycare. I am back in the gym and they have a little daycare that I drop them off at. They just sleep in their car seats while I work out. It was kind of weird to pay for my gym membership along with a daycare punch card.....something I have never done before. They were an instant hit when I walked in there, as usual.

Twin A and Twin B

I was trying to pose them both so I could take cute pictures of them in their "Twin A" and "Twin B" onesies that Grandma Maureen bought them, but they aren't quite model material yet. Mr. Sassy Pants was not a fan.

5 Weeks Old!!!!

The little buggers are already 5 weeks old!! I can't believe how fast it goes! They have changed so much already. It's been so much fun having them in my life. I still can't believe I have 2 babies! I brought out their play yard today, thinking maybe they'd have some interest in it. Nope-Presley cried and Cash actually was kind of content, which is abnormal for him. We celebrated their 5 week old birthday going out to lunch with their friends, Ryder and Hudson. Ryder is 4 months and Hudson is 10 months. They slept through the whole lunch, but soon enough they'll be running around!!

Cash and Presley got weighed on Friday. Cash weighed in at 7.13 lbs and Presley was 6.14 lbs. They both are getting bigger and bigger. Cash also had to get his blood drawn to test for his Jaundice, which came in at 10.1, down from 12 last week, so that is good news. His spray tan is slowly fading:) My dad and Maureen were over on Friday. It's nice having the help bc with 2 babies it's hard to do by myself.

I still can't believe I have 2 babies! Everyday it gets easier and easier. My life is so blessed. I thank god every day for bringing such perfect little babies into Travis and I's life. Our family is complete!

Yesterday, Saturday, Michelle, Travis's sister, gave birth to a little girl, Shelby! She's cousin # 16!!! We can't wait to meet her! Cash and Presley are no longer the babies of the family! The Gibson family is getting bigger and bigger every month. They will be lucky to have a lot of cousins to play with.

Today we are going to attempt Costco! Wish us luck!

I have been taking the kids for walks as much as I can. It's a nice way to get out of the house, as well as get some exercise since I have another week and a half until I get my butt back in the gym. The babies love going on walks, if I stop the stoller, they start to cry.

Little Cash has the biggest eyes. I just love it when he's looking around. Travis and I were looking at babies pictures of us yesterday and Cash looks just like me when I was little.

Little Presley is always making the funniest faces. She is a spitting image of Travis when he was little baby. She even has the same piece of hair that sticks up as he did. Also, the ears are exactly alike....poor child:)

One Month Old!!

Well, I made it this far! I have been a Mom for 1 month and I can't believe it's gone by so fast! This has definately been the most challenging time in my life, but also the most rewarding. Life has changed so much to say the least!! Being a new Mom to twins is unbelievable hard. You have two babies to take care of.....breastfeeding, changing diapers, holding, etc. It is so hard! The most difficult time is in the evenings....I swear, as soon as the sun sets, the babies turn into little devils. They are so fussy!! "It'll get easier" is what everyone says. I can't wait for that day! They have their bad nights of sleep and their good nights. I just can't wait for them to sleep through the night. I think if I had one wish, it'd be that they'd sleep through the night or that Travis and I were rich enough we could hire a night nanny:) Soon enough.......:)

Last Friday was my 29th birthday. I have to say.....it was a pretty wild night! Travis, the babies, and I went to dinner, then I was in bed by 10pm. I did however drink 1/2 a glass of wine:) That was pretty exciting! The day was spent at 2 different dr. appointments and at home, breastfeeding, of course!!

Saturday, we went up to Suncadia, looked at some lots that Travis will be building on and to the lodge for lunch. That was a nice day! Then on Sunday, we took the babies for what seemed like a 10 mile walk. We stuck both babies in their BabyBjorn's and took the dogs for a walk. It has been so long since I have done anything physical, I was in pain by the end.

Today to celebrate the babies 1 month old birthday, we met my friend Courtney and her 4 month old son, Ryder for lunch. The babies slept through the entire lunch:) Then this afternoon, I'll take them for a walk since it's so nice out. No wind!! Yea!

My body is slowing getting back to normal, or at least closest it'll get to back to normal. I have been taking the babies for a walk as much as I can, but I have another 2 weeks until I can get back into the gym. I will be there everyday!!! I can't wait to get my muscle tone back!

Anyways, I am going to take advantage of this quiet time and catch up on my magazines!

I'll be posting more pictures.....I just bought a new camera yesterday and it's battery is charging.

1 month old today!!

Little Miss Presley is getting bigger every day! Last week at her appointment on Wednesday, she weighed 6.8 lbs. She's starting to get chubbier cheeks and her belly is getting bigger and bigger. It looks like a little frog belly, which she gets from her daddy:) She's very alert and has turned into a little sassy pants with frequent tantrums. She likes to be held and look around.

Little Mr. Cash is also getting bigger and bigger. Last Friday, he weighed 7.8 lbs. He's more long and lean like his mommy. At his appointment last Wednesday he had to get tested for Jaundice again because he still is a bit orange, however I think he looks like he got a spray tan, but his bilirubens were at 11.7, so we had to go back in on Friday for some more testing and they were at 12. Anything above a 20, you have to be hospitalized. The Dr. thinks that over time they'll go down, but we still have to keep an eye on them. He goes in for some more testing on Friday. He's such a little trooper for being picked at. He screams uncontrollably, but afterwards he's exhuasted, so he sleeps for most of the day, which Mommy likes:)

Cousin Lacey came over last night for a visit. She decided that the bouncer was hers and fit perfectly in it. She was holding Presley getting ready for her sister, Shelby, who arrives in the next few weeks. Cash and Presley are very lucky because they already have 14 cousins!!

She's always just so content and just loves to look around. She's becoming quite alert and is always looking at you with her big blue eyes. She's definately already a "Daddy's Girl" and will most likely have him twisted around her little finger!

Yesterday, we took them grocery shopping. They are just too cute in their little car seats. It takes even longer to shop because everyone has to stop and look at them. Travis and I each had a cart. One baby in each cart. I haven't quite figured out how I am going to do it alone. Just carrying both carriers is hard. I will definately have good arm muscles! She reminds us of Maggie from the Simpson's when she has her binky in her mouth.

Cash Pictures

Mr. Cash has been more alert lately, opening his big eyes and looking around. He's also trying very hard to hold his head up. Everyday his look is changing. His hair is getting a bit darker from the red hair he was born with. I know he's got a pink blanket, but at this point I don't really care. Hopefully it won't effect him later in life:)

Cash, aka, Mr. McFuss Pants loves his binky! I don't know what parents did before binkies were invented. Mommy and Daddy go in panic mode whenever his binky cannot be located. He also goes in panic mode with loud cries whenever it falls out of his mouth. He is actually quite good at holding it in himself.

19 days old!

The babies are already 19 days old! I have been so terrible at getting some pics up on the site, I promise I'll do that today. Already they are getting so big and changing! Both of them have become so alert, looking around with their big eyes. I think Presley looks like Travis and Cash looks like me. She has Travis's exact hair and has his little head and round body. Where as Cash is more long and lean like his mommy. He also has curly and lighter hair like his mom. They both are the most perfect babies ever!!

Yesterday, Travis and I took them out to their first restaurant experience! We went to The Roadhouse Grill and Jim and Shannon were nice enough to treat us to dinner. (Thank you!!!) This was the first time we ever went to dinner at 4:30, we were trying to beat the dinner rush because we didn't want them to cry. Luckily they slept through the meal until the very end, Cash got a little fussy.

Last night also was a fabulous sleep night! The twins went down at 10:30, then woke up at 3 am, then again at 7am. They let mom and dad get 7 hours of sleep!! Yea! A change from the night before, when they were up every hour!! Let's pray this sleep pattern continues............

They had their 2 week dr. appt this week also. They are back up to their birth weights. Presley weighed 6.31/2 lbs and 19 inches long and Cash weighed 7.2lbs and was 21 inches long. So, they've gained weighed and grown:) We go back again this Wednesday.

My dad and Maureen came over on Thursday to help out while Travis was working. It was nice to have the help. They came and helped out and cooked us dinner:) My mom is coming on Monday and she is going to let Travis and I go out to dinner w/out babies to celebrate my birthday (March 7th). Yea. I may even splurge and have a whole glass on wine:)

Other than that....mostly just feeding, changing diapers, etc. I'll put some pics up today.
