It's official...the twins are growing at a rapid pace and it makes me sad. It mean, it's exciting to watch them grow and learn new things, however, soon enough they'll grow into being kids.
Cash is a log and getting heavy. He's big and very very long, at least 2-3 inches taller than Presley. However, he's very lean and muscular. Such a boy!! He has started the whiny thing. He doesn't cry, he whines. Whine, whine, whine. I'd rather hear them cry than whine! He also started giving me kisses. He grabs my cheeks and kisses me! It makes me melt and I try to get in as many as I can while he's young because someday he'll turn into a teenager and he won't be wanting to kiss his mommy anymore!! Cash also has quite the appetite and loves to eat! There hasn't been one food yet that he doesnt' love, bananas, peas, carrots, prunes, pears, applesauce, sweet potatoes, peaches, oatmeal, and green beans. He's starting to drink out of a sippy cup, but that has been a hard task to accomplish. I have bought a million different sippy cups and finally found some that they like. He is a perfect sleeper, so far he's slept through the night perfectly for the past 2 months.
Presley is still a peanut and is so tiny. She doesn't like to eat her bottles, but loves her food. She doesn't like the sippy cups, but can drink out of a cup without the top. She laps up the juice with her tongue like a dog. It's funny!! She's so happy all the time and doesn't whine like brother. She is in love with her travel blanket, Ladybug. She can be in the middle of an tantrum and you give her her ladybug and put it over her head and she's quiet. She also enjoys her jumper and can play in it for hours. Presley unfortunately does not sleep through the night. Her fine motor skills are way more advanced than Cash's, but that seems typical for a girl. Both babies are sitting up and almost starting crawl.
We've been really busy during the week, but I am not quite sure what we do. The days just fly by. We spend a lot of time playing and we enjoy going on walks and hanging out with Courtney and Ryder. I am trying to convince Courtney to not go back to work!!
I have just been busy being a mom. When the babies are sleeping, I run, shower and do house work! Fun........I still can't figure out how this house gets so messy with just the 4 of us. I have started a new obsession with scrapbooking and making cards. Remember when I was pregnant and I was BFF with the blockbuster guy, now the scrapbook store lady and I are new BFFs. I just love buying stuff and already have quite the collection!! I have been busy making invitations for Alison's baby shower and Travis's big 30th birthday party I am planning.
Travis is busy with work. He has 2 houses going right now and starts 2 more in the next few weeks. He's doing amazing!!! He also came home from work yesterday with a riding lawn mower. I figure if anything can get him to mow the lawn more, I'm all for it!!!
Hunting season starts in a few weeks, so the babies, my mom and I are headed to Minnesota for 5 days to visit. I am nervous to be on the plane with the babies, but I'll have my mom, so she'll be the best help ever! I am excited to have my family meet the twinnies!!
That's our little life update. Not too exciting! It's Rodeo weekend this next weekend, so that should be lots of fun!!

Weekend Pics
We went to the twin's cousin Payton's 1st birthday on Sunday. Presley is getting ready for Rodeo weekend by wearing Payton's cowboy hat. Surprisingly, she kept it on and wasn't bothered by it. She's getting cuter and cuter everyday!!

Half a year old!
Whew.......I made it! I actually can do this whole parenting thing to twins. And I am actually pretty good at it!
Yesterday the twins turned 6 months old. Unfortunately we didn't have a good day:( For some reason the night before I couldn't sleep. Eventually I went to bed at 4am!! Yuck! So I was exhuasted to say the least. I tried to make for it during nap time, but Cash didn't take an afternoon nap, so I was only able to get in a few hours in during their morning nap. They were just little whiners yesterday. Travis didnt' get home until 7:30, so I was alone pretty much all day. But, luckily I had such a good night's sleep last night that today is a new day!!!
At 6 months old, both babies are sitting up....kinda. Presley is good at it and we are still working on Cash. He's wanting to crawl and he's almost got it. They are just little rolly polly's all over the floor and love playing with toys. They love their food and are so adorable during meal times. We have their 6 months dr appt on Sept. 3rd, so we'll have to wait to see how much they've grown. I am thinking it's quite a bit because they are growing out of all their clothes!
Like I have said before, being a mom is the best and most rewarding job in the entire world!! I have never been so in love before. I mean, I love Travis, but the love you feel for you children is magnified a million times more!!! I am blessed and am completely head over heels in love with these two little people!

6 Months tomorrow!
Presley is starting to sit up, however Cash isn't very good at it. He wants to stand. He is working on crawling and is almost there!
I just loved this picture because he looks like a little boy. He's growing like a weed and is at least 2 inches taller than Presley!

Playtime!
When I need a moment to myself to get stuff done, occasionally I'll stick the babies in their beds to play. It's so cute to watch them interact with each other.

We've been busy...
This weekend flew by, as always. Saturday, Travis took Cash to his fantasy football draft. It was the first time the twins have beens split up and I had Presley. It was such a weird feeling having only 1 baby and I didn't like it. I am so glad I had two:) Presley and I went to the Farmer's Market and then went and saw Auntie Jeanna at her craft show.
Sunday, we had to make our monthly trip to Costco in Yakima. 12 cans of formula, 300 diapers, 800 wipes, 12 "D" batteries, and of course a few bottles of wine later......oh, and Travis had to get his hot dog. Then we were lucky enough to go and visit the twins's new friend Brady Hansen. Travis and Krestin Hansen welcomed their 4th boy, Brady!! I can't believe they have 4 boys!! Krestin is such a good mom, it's pretty amazing to watch them handle all their boys, Riley 7, Cooper 5, Chase 3, and now Brady. Whew.....they definately have it down. That evening we had a BBQ at our house with Travis's family. It was such a nice evening out and we had delicious dinner of Halibut, Salmon and a Pork roast:)
The twins will be 6 months in a week. I can't believe they've been here for half a year, it just blows me away that it goes by this fast! They are on the verge of being able to sit up by themselves and Cash is really starting to want to crawl. He scoots his legs up underneath him, it's just a matter of time. Then it'll really start to get crazy in this house. They'll have their 6 month appointment next week. I am excited to see how much they weigh because they are getting so big! Especially Cash, he's such a lug and very long. He's got the long torso like me, so he's been growing out of a lot of his clothes. I so far have 2 huge tubs filled with clothes they no longer fit into.
I have been making lots of baby food lately and so far, the babies love my homemade baby food. They've had carrots, applesauce and bananas. It's actually really easy and I like being able to make them organic baby food instead of getting store bought. I watched on the news that they found 17 different pesticides in Gerber baby food....that is something I don't want my babies to have. Yuck!
That's our weekly life update. Pretty uneventful. Life is so simple now, well at least mine is. I love it. Travis didn't go to sleep last night until 3 in the morning because he's been busy working. He's getting so busy and it's wonderful!!! It makes me staying at home with the babies so much easier, knowing that he's doing well. I really want to start getting their scrapbooks done, but I really don't have the time. When they are napping, that is my time to clean, run, take a shower, etc. At night when they go down at 8pm, I try my best to go to sleep as soon as possible, so I don't have a lot of time for anything right now.

A Day at the Zoo.
On Wednesday, we went to the Woodland Park Zoo with my mom and her BF Pat, from Minnesota. The babies were such little angels and really enjoyed being outside in their stroller. Of course they probably won't remember, nor did they get excited about the animals, but they loved being in their new stroller. We were there all day and they both were perfect and didn't cry at all!
My favorite part of they day was seeing the new baby Gorilla, who was born in October but was still just a little peanut. He stayed on his mom's back and was the cutest little thing ever!!!
