I've been excited to take the kids on the Santa Train at Snoqualmie, since their love for Thomas is HUGE! I bought tickets for last year, but we weren't able to make it since both kids were sick with the flu (the most awful week last year, I vividly remember it!). Getting packed up, dressed, fed and out the door with 3 kids is no easy task. So...obviously we missed our scheduled 12pm departure, but they kindly let us take the 1pm Train. Whew.....
Cash marched right up to Santa and told him what he wanted. He wants a garbage truck, a buzz light year and a gun. Presley however didn't want anything to do with him, but managed to tell Santa that she wanted a Barbie, a Barbie car and a Barbie house. I am taking the kids to Bellevue Square this weekend, so hopefully she'll sit on his lap!
Ok....if any of you are thinking of taking your kids on this Santa Train, I personally think it's a waste of time and money. It costs $16 to wait in line to ride a 5 minute train, then wait in line to get a cup of hot cocoa, then wait in line to see Santa, spend $45 on a couple train toys for your kids and then finally wait in another line to take the 5 minute train ride back to your car. We definately will not make this a part of our holiday tradition.

Good to know because we were thinking about doing it. Have you done Snowflake Lane at Bellevue Square? We are doing it this year. I took Hayden to Santa earlier this week. No line and they print the photos right there for you!
