4 Weeks.

Being tortured by putting her in the cart. I couldn't resist. She actually wasn't crying, but by the time I got my camera out, she had had enough.

She turns 1 month on Sunday. I can't believe it's gone by that fast. She is such delight. Getting a little more fussy, but we still love her.

Boon Squirt Spoon

Is this not a perfect idea? It's a spoon that use with baby food. You put the baby food in the top, then dispense it as you feed your baby. Sounds perfect for traveling, since I like to make my own baby food and not having to worry about containers, it's a 2 in 1 spoon/jar. The baby food stage is a stage I hate, so hopefully this will make it easier. My Aunt uses it and she loves it.

A Good Cause.

What a fantastic concept? When you buy a pair of Toms shoes, they donate a pair to a child in need. So, on that note.....when I bought my first pair, I felt good about myself. Then they arrived and it's like wearing a piece of heaven on my feet. More comfortable than my uggs, running shoes, and my flip flops. They aren't the most beautiful shoes in the world, but they are the most comfortable shoes and it's all for a good cause. So, when the wedges arrived, I bought this pair. 2 pair of shoes to 2 children in need.
I really suggest going and buying a pair, they are the MOST comfortable shoes!

Will this save my sanity??

I have hopped on the self-help for parenting book band wagon. Thanks to Bri for recommending it. I overnighted this to me via amazon.com and should be here today. I am hoping this will help!?

I think I might loose my mind.....

I remember when I heard the word "Mommy" come from my children's mouth, it was one of the happiest moments....that was when they were less than a year old.

Fast forward to 2 years old.....the word "Mommy" coming out 8,456 times while Presley is in the middle of a tantrum with snot running down her face, laying face down in the carpet is not my happiest moment.

Please help me. I may not survive this age. I think I might go hug Violet a little tighter today, especially since I know what the future has in store for me.

On a side note: Last night we put the kids to bed and Presley decided to throw a screaming fit. I just shut the door and let her scream away......5 minutes later, the screaming is still happening. Next thing I know, she comes burstiing out of her room. OMG...she crawled out of her crib and opened the door. I guess I should probably start looking for big kid bed bedding.......

3rd Week.

Little Violet has been in our lives for 3 weeks now and it seems as if it's been forever! She is awake a bit more and loves to watch her surroundings. I think Cash and Presley serve as a great source of entertainment for her. Presley loves kissing on her, holding her and is always trying to help. Cash is warming up, a few kisses here and there and a quick rub on the head. Violet has big eyes and already her lashes are getting thicker. Her hair is still very dark and not much has fallen out. Her skin is perfect. Her only downfall......she has my feet. Big feet. Poor girl. At least I'll have someone to pass my giant shoe collection to.....

I am jealous of his eyelashes. So big and so thick. Cash is turning into a typical 2 year old. He's so much work. I am secretly very happy that Violet is a girl because I don't think I can handle 2 boys. Boys are soooo much work!

Overall, I am still trying to adjust to being a mom to 3 kids. It's tough. I want to make sure that I give a lot of attention to the twins, but Violet takes up so much time. I am grateful for having the twins first. They play together, which allows me time to feed Violet without being interrupted. They are still taking great naps, which allows me time to get in a few hours of sleep during the day. I have successfully showered everyday this week and we actually got out of the house...went to the park and to a playdate at Ryder's house. This weekend is Memorial Weekend. Travis is taking the twins camping Fri-Sun, so Violet and I are heading over to Seattle. I haven't left Ellensburg since March and I need a much deserved trip to Bellevue Square, Trader Joe's and Target. Violet's new stroller will be delivered today, so we'll test that out.
