Pumpin Patch.

A few weekends ago, we ventured over to the pumpkin patch. The twinnies loved it. They picked out their pumpkins while wheeling around their wagons. Then, we went through the corn maze. Presley loved it, where as Cash had to be held by daddy the whole time. Presley is obsessed with corn on the cobb...she didn't get it that you couldn't actually eat this cobb.

My little ragamuffin...she through a fit right before we got here, so she pulled out her ponytail, she also had the neverending runny nose, but with that, she's still adorable!!

Presley led us through the corn maze. She loved taking charge and actually did a good job.

So sad, just look at those tears.

Playtime at the Park.

We spend many afternoons at the park playing. The kiddos love going down the slide 750 times. We took the dogs with us this time. Presley is obsessed with walking the dogs on the leash and is quite good at it. She could care less about the toys and she'd rather walk the dog.

Peanut Butter Cup Blondies....

As soon as the kids wake up, I am going to the store to make these. I am craving them. I want just one, so I make them, eat one, then bring them to my father-in-law, so I don't eat the whole batch. I have no will power.
Ingredients
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted, plus more, room temperature, for pan
1 cup packed light-brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour (spooned and leveled)
1 1/2 teaspoons coarse salt
1/4 cup each orange, yellow, and brown candy-coated chocolates (from a 12.6-ounce bag) or 8 Reese's peanut butter cups, removed from their wrappers and corasely chopped

Directions
Preheat oven to 350. Brush an 8-inch square baking pan with butter; line pan with parchment paper, leaving a 2-inch overhang on two sides. Butter paper.
In a large bowl, whisk together butter and sugars until smooth. Whisk in eggs and vanilla. Add flour and salt; stir just until moistened. Transfer batter to prepared pan and smooth top. Arrange candies or chopped peanut butter cups in 12 rows (2 rows per color, repeating once) on top of dough.
Bake until top of cake is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, 45 to 50 minutes. Set pan on a wire rack and let cool completely. Using parchment overhang, lift cake from pan and transfer to a cutting board; cut into 16 squares. To store, keep in an airtight container at room temperature, up to 2 days.
Makes 16.

Halloween Costumes

Now that I have children, holidays are soooooo much better. Halloween is one of my favorites because seeing the little chickens all dressed up is just too fun and you can eat all their candy after.....

I spent forever trying to find the best little costumes for the twinnies....this is what I found.

Presley the pig and Cash the lion.

I can't wait for 10.31. It's also Travis's 31st birthday.

Oh, and don't forget these! Free shipping and I am always a sucker for personalization.

Two Little Peas.

If you look really close, you can see her little gap...she's got the "Gibson Gap". I love it. I love his butt chin and I love her gap. Such perfect little features, it makes me just want to eat them and squeeze them and smooch them all day long.

Costume Preview...

They will be the cutest little piggy and lion. EVER. PERIOD. I can't wait to take them trick or treating! We are trying to get one to say trick and the other one to say treat. Actually, secretly, I am excited to eat their candy!....hee hee.

A side binky is definately part of the outfit. I figure he'll probably be sucking on that thing until he's 18.....i just don't have the patience to take it away...judge me, i don't care.
