Just to justify this mess, the kitchen is clean, laundry is 100% done and put away, my sheets are washed and bed is made......oh, and I am up to date on all my celebrity gossip, on page 565 of The Girl Who Played with Fire and I have 5 games going on Words with Friends. I obviously know how to multi-task!

Today was snack day at school, which means it's "Show and Tell" day too. (I am super mom and was up at 6:30am making banana chocolate chip muffins from scratch.) Anyhow, for "Show and Tell" Cash brought his box of dinosaurs. He knows all the names to all the dinosaurs and what they eat. Yep, he's a genious. Presley chose to bring her stuffed hamster that she stole from the pumpkin patch. Yep, she's a theif.

My mornings are usually spent talking to either Carrie or Alison and are usually spent talking about our crazy kids. Whether, they are smeared with Nutella (a fav in all 3 houses), how it'd be so nice to go to the bathroom ALONE, how many times a certain someone has pooped in the bathtub x amount of times this week, how messy our houses are, how we should probably go out and do an activity but it seems like a lot of effort, and often times we reminice how fun college was...anyways, you get the idea. But we also talk about new blog finds.

So, today was a good day. Carrie gave me a new blog to read. Read it. You'll laugh so hard, you'll have tears trickling down. Momastery.

Just so you know...i'll be putting a paper bag over my head too!

Oribe Texturizing Spray I use this if I am using a curling iron or having my hair straight, but I want more volume at the roots, or I even use this when I have it curly, after it's dry. Just to give it more lift Check out this product on you tube. They have videos that show you how to use it. I love it. It just puts lots of volume into your hair, which I love. I love big hair!

I am new to this brand Oribe, pronounced Or-bay. I love this blog. She uses these products and I love what she does to hair, so I copy her. You should too. She's got some fun tutuorials.

Maximista Thickening Spray I have curly, but fine hair. I love this stuff. I spray it into my hair when it's wet and then I diffuse it dry. It makes my hair feel super thick.

Phyto Pre-Shampoo Treatment

It's a oil treatment that you rub into your hair before you shower. Leave on for 20 minutes, then wash you hair. Leaves it smooth and healthy. I love it. I use it about 1-2 times a weeks.

T-3 Featherweight Hair Dryer.. I've always owned the cheapy hair dryers that I bought at the store. Clariol, revlon, whatever. I never understood why people spend the money on a nice hair dryer. Now, I know. They kick ass. Drying time is cut in half, my hair feels smoother, and overall just awesome. Plus, I love a diffuser with my curly hair and this one comes with one.

Clarisonic. My skin has been freaking out lately. I have been getting acne, when I've hardly ever even had a zit. I love this clarisonic. It's gentle enough to use daily. It gets everything off and makes your skin shine. I am kinda late the clarisonic party....i just got mine a few months ago. Love this.

Face Cleanser. My salon that I go to, to get my hair done and my facials, use Aveda. I LOVE their products. I use their hair products and facial products. This cleanser really gets your face clean without being harsh. I have sensitive skin and this works really good and has a nice fragrence.

These are some of my favorite products. I have been bit of a product junky lately. These what have worked for me!! Best of all, these all can be bought on amazon.com. I am kinda obsessed!!!

Snow Day.

To keep up with everyone else's snow day pics, here's ours...we played. I shoveled. We froze. No snowmen were made, since the snow is too dry. Tears were shed. Fought over the shovel. After an hour of play, we retreated back to the warmth of the house for a cup of homemade hot cocoa...whole milk warmed with chocolate chips and lots of marshmellows. We danced. We shot some bucks (Wii game). I went to the gym to get tortured by my trainer. Got a new iphone (Trav's old one). Watched some Gossip Girl. Put a pot of homemade soup on the stove. Took a shower. Put on big grey sweats. Did some laundry. It's been a good day.

I am looking at old pics. Do you ever catch yourself looking at pics, mostly those before kids and look at yourself in the picture and tell that person that they have NO idea what is to come? Tell them to really enjoy life. To really get good sleep. To not sweat the small stuff. To not spend so much time at the gym because your just going to have kids and your body will NEVER look the same. To drink more cocktails, to stay out late, to travel more....I do. I did today.

After my weekend, I chose to post these pics. They were from Cancun, Mexico, May of 2007. Only 2 weeks before the I got pregnant with twins. Weird. Anyways, this was such an enjoyable trip. We went with Carrie and Craig and Carrie and I to this day laugh about stuff that happened during this vacation. It was pure bliss. I was really happy. This was our last big Hoorah before we were going to start a family. Crazy...

This was the first day. Craig lost his wedding ring in the water in the first 10 minutes. The scene was priceless. Hilarious..for us, not for Craig. He was in trouble. BIG trouble.

Craig loves activites. He's not happy sitting by the pool, so did LOTS of activites. Glad we did. So much fun.

We rented mopeds. Actually, I was too scared to go by myself. I know...I'm weird. Carrie was in heaven reliving her English Hill days.

Ok, this is one of my most favorite times in my life besides having my kids. We found this pool/bar and you could use the pool if you bought food/drinks. We spent hours here. It's on that little island off cancun, Isles de mejueres( SP?) Anyhow, it was heaven. Seriously.

What May Have or Have Not Happened this Weekend.

I am gonna keep this blog sequence alive and play a little game...to see if I can top the weekend before. Which, this weekend I CAN!

Let's start. Ok, before I do, if you have a sensitve stomach STOP reading.

Cash started vomiting all over the sofa on Friday at 5:30pm.
Presley started vomiting all over her bed on Friday at 11pm.
I escaped on Saturday morning for a few hours to do some shopping with Courtney.
Violet started vomiting Saturday night, continued ALL day Sunday.
Sunday, let's just say, was my one of my LEAST favorite day of all time. .
I did escape and see The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo-Good movie!
I woke up Monday morning vomiting.
Went sledding as a family. (BIG mom-of-the-year award for this! We promised to take the kids on Sunday and they obviously didn't forget. Surprisingly, it by smoothly and it made me feel a little better.)
Came home with a 101 fever. Took a nap and woke up to dog puke on my bed beside me.
On top of all this, I did 455 loads of laundry, cleaned my kitched 200 times and haven't been able to eat a good meal because my stomach is still weak.

So, I apologize for all the unanswered phone calls and texts. I am completely exhausted, overwhelmed and literally up to my elbows in vomit. Oh, and right before I started this post, Cash woke up and shit his pants, rubbed it into the carpet and Voilet projectile vomited all over the living room. Gimme a break. No Pinot was consumed, however half a bottle of Pepto was.

I am just keeping it real people. Life sucks. So, for all of you who have a bad day, just think of me. I am probably having a worse day. And in celebration this completely awful weekend, I am looking forward to Brewfest this upcoming weekend! Momma needs a break!

Joking. We did not buy this house....I wish. Travis built this house. It's for sale. For the amazing price of $2,750,000. So, I just have to brag for a second....Travis is amazing. He's the smartest, most hard working man I know. On top of this house, he's building 7 more. He started this company with himself and his best friend Chris. When I had just given birth to twins... talk about stressful. He has built it from the ground up and he amazes me everyday. Today, he's off to Montana to meet with an architect for an exciting project he'll be starting soon. So proud.

Took all 3 kids to Costco and spent a small fortune.
Went to Red Robin with all 3 kids. Violet hit her face against the table and has a black eye. It was the most unrelaxing meal.
After Red Robin, put Presley in the car and she vomited everywhere. Not just a little puke, a lotta puke. (At least it's a reason for another detail job!) Thank god for the boogy wipes i just bought at Costco and I used the plastic bag from the Pirates Booty for a large garbage bag. Resourseful....I know.
Put Violet's dirty diaper in a Starbucks Venti cup and Travis thought it was my tea and tried to take a sip. ...we were driving. I know....weird spot to put a dirty diaper, but it was either that, or the puke filled wipe bag. Anyways, lots of laughter. I mean, I really really laughed.
Oh, and the Urban Decay Naked Palette 2 came out. Holla.

So, needless to say.....I said f&%$ the healthy diet and poured myself some wine. Go Pinot!

New Hair?

The Glamourai

I am obsessed with this girl. Her style, her closet, her home and most of all, her hair. I am kinda contemplating on cutting it like this and dying it this chocolate color. I think I might pull the trigger......I feel like I need a makeover.

I have been eating super clean for the past week. Think: protein shakes, ground turkey, chicken, tuna, brussel sprouts, green beans, broccoli, grapefruit, quinoa, black beans. Thats it. No dairy, lots of water, no salt, lots of Mrs. Dash and hot sauce and I CANNOT even begin to explain the amazing results. All cravings for bread/cracker/sweets is gone. I eat 6 meals a day and I am full all day. Try it!! I do allow myself coffee creamer though....can't live without my darigold vanilla creamer. Oh hellz no.

We are getting solar panels on our house, as I write this. Funny, but it's a pretty awesome idea. It'll warm up all of our hot water for free. It'll cut our bill by quite a bit, since our hot water is heated by gas and I run the dishwasher, do a million loads of laundry and we all shower. Since Travis is a builder, we got a killer deal and in return he sells it to his clients, which are always looking to go "Green".

Oh, and we killed 2 mice last night. I am so excited!

I have made it my goal to blog more. I read others, so why not contribute more to mine. It's been lonely.
I have a new obsession with tea. I love it. I drink it all day long. I was out of tea the other day and the only kind I had left was "smooth move". It tasted great, just like "Sleepytime". Well, lets just say it lives up to it's name. The Chai Tea Keurigs are a nice little treat. Only 60 calories.
Our house has been invaded by mice. Ahhh.....i know. So gross. Travis caught one coming through the fireplace. Seriously. Ew. Another reason why I want a new house, now!
We've had a Wii for a few years now and have never used it. Until a few weeks ago...Cash was sick, we couldn't go and do anything, so we went and bought some games. Holy hell, I am obsessed. The Cabellas hungting game witht the rifle is my favorite. Cash and I play all day long. The trigger wouldn't work last night and it was if the world had ended, I was so sad. Also, Presley tears up the dance floor with Just Dance 3. It's hilarious and actually a pretty good work out. I work up a sweat.
Speaking of new house. I want one so bad. We've outgrown this one by a lot. I've only got a few items on my "must have" list: a pantry so big that I can have a dance party in it, seperate walk-in closets because if you've seen my closet...it's a bit of a disaster and I need as much room as I can get, and a HUGE laundry room. With LOTS of counter space and a nice big sink.
Violet has turned into a toddler. The toddler that has screaming, melt-down crying fits while laying face down on the floor. Yea. Btw....toddlers are the WORST, especially when you have 3 at the same time!
I held baby Celine and almost for a split second I wanted another. I MISS babies. She's such a perfect little girl.
So I've spent the past few days taking down Christmas decorations. I must admit, it makes me sad. All this preparation for the holidays and then it's over in one day! Iam already for next year. But, I think I need to plan a weekend spa retreat to help me recover from it. I am exhausted. But, it's nice to get back to a routine and a more simple/laid back life.
Sushi, I wish Ellensburg had a good sushi restaurant. When I lived in Woodinville, Travis and I would meet my Dad and Maureen at Hana sushi every Wednesday. I miss it.
I have been thinking a lot about my New Year resolutions. I don't think they are very realistic for me, since I am not very good at sticking to anything, so I am going to just try to be less stressed. Mostly with the kids. I am going to try to gain more patience and maybe not care so much about the little things. I want to be happy. I mean, I am happy, but just more visably so.
Laundry. It's my nemesis. Seriously. NEVER ENDING. Hate it with a passion! Does anyone else feel like this? Once it's done, I feel like I've accomplished so much, then 15 minutes later, I have a pile. I HATE piles. I HATE folding. I HATE putting it away. You get the idea?

My new one piece. I haven't had a one piece since I was little, but I thought it'd be fun to get one for our vacation. LOVE this one and it fits perfect!

Gel Shellac Polish kit. If you haven't gotten a shellac gel polish manicure, go do it now! It's amazing. I got a kit to do it myself at home and I LOVE it!

Kendra Scott earrings. My ears closed up, but I got them repierced. I am obsessed with earrings and these are my new favoite.

My new beach bag. Can you tell I am getting excited for our beach vacation? I use this all the time already. Perfect for diapers, ipad, snacks, boogie wipes and everything else a mom needs to carry around.

We had a fun time celebrating 2011 with good friends!

It was my friend Courtney's 30th birthday. We surprised her with a party. We put on some sparkle and our party pants and had a blast!

We had a good 2011. I feel like every year just keeps getting better and better. I have survived yet another year with 3 kids. We are healthy. The kids are doing well. Travis's business is successful. I have wonderful family and friends. 2012 will be a even better year. Twins turn 4...party is already planned and invites are out. Hawaii is booked, we go February 18-28. Nashville in June with front row tickets to Kenny Chesney/Tim Mcgraw. Lots to look forward to!!

Suncadia Resort has Winterfest every year. Ice skating, breakfast with Santa, crafts, gingerbread house making. Its super organized and worth every penny. No mess at my house is work a lot of $$ in my book.

The Swiftwater Winery is amazing. We are black diamond members and get lots of discounts on top of cases of wine. The food is so good and they have live music all the time!

We got new custom cabinets installed. I am sooo excited about them:)

Playing Cabellas hunting game on the Wii....we are slightly obsessed with it, including myself!

The kids got a bazillion toys. Travis got a gun. And I got diamond earrings. Santa was good to us! But most of all, it isn't about what you get from Santa, it's about spending time with family. I love it. I was so exhausted after everything. Christmas really takes a toll on the Mom's.

As I am evolving into motherhood, I find myself sounding EXACTLY like my mother. And I mean EXACTLY.
Also as I have become a mother, I have so much more respect for my parents. It's HARD work.
Is it bad that I have days where I yell more than I talk? I give myself headaches. I yell at the kids for them to stop yelling. Does that make any sense? No wonder my kids look at me like a crazy lady.
I am off my meds. Which means more wine and lots of deep breaths. I bought another case last night to add to my other 2 cases in the garage. Got wine?
I am 95% done with my Christmas shopping, which has NEVER happened, all while have my Nordstrom card paid off!
Just got home from Vegas and I am already planning for Nashville in June!
Homeland is the BEST new show. I can't say it enough. I am kinda obsessed. Oh, and Dexter is totally boring.
Motherhood WTF is a new funny blog I found.
Zara is my new weakness. Kinda obsessed! Free shipping...wahoo!
It drives me crazy when I cannot find something. I lost the watch Travis bought me for our anniversary and I cannot for the life of me find it!!! Also a brand new Bobby Brown shimmer compact too. Beyond annoyed.

The egg nog latte obsession is back and lots of hours spent in the gym to burn those egg nog lattes off is back also. Any holy hell they are expensive....4.05 for a TALL...a tall and 4.50 for a grande.

Viva Las Vegas

On a whim a few months ago, I booked a trip to Vegas. I wanted to do something fun for Travis's birthday and we've never been to Vegas together, so I figured it'd be fun! Luckily, some of my oldest BFF's were there also, Jenny and Logan were staying in the same hotel and Patti lives there. We had the best time. We flew in on Friday, shopped, ate and saw a show and pathetically we were in bed at 11pm. I was exhausted. We had to be up at 3am on Friday to drive over and fly out. But, Saturday we were well rested and ready to go. Travis gambled all day and I shopped all day with Jenny and Patti. It was so great to catch up!!

On Friday Travis and I walked the entire strip....all 4 miles. So, I had to get up a immediately go buy some tennis shoes Saturday morning...not the cutest, but definately the most comfy.

We stayed at Encore, which is in the Wynn. An amazing hotel. Beautiful rooms!!!

On Saturday night, we went out to some clubs. Lil Jon was our DJ and the music is amazing. Such good people watching and omg....i LOVED every second. Best. Time. Ever!!!

Trick or Treat

Preschool Halloween party was on Monday, making Halloween a CRAZY day for us. It's also Travis's birthday, so between all the Halloween fun and birthday celebrations, it was nonstop for me. Up at5am and literally not sitting down until 11pm at night.

Anyhow, here is the preschool party. It was super fun and highly organized, making it really enjoyable. Luckily, Travis came with me.

I've been neglecting this little blog of mine. Naptime has been spent catching up on dvr'd shows and working out. I am just so lazy when it comes to posting.
Travis and I are going to Vegas in 10 days.....so. freaking. excited.
I bought my halloween costume. I am going as a pirate. A scandalous pirate. Fish nets and short skirt. We are going to a Halloween party on Friday and I may even really get wild and do a jello shot!!
Homeland on SHO is the BEST new show. I got hooked this weekend and seriously, it's soooo good!
Revenge is the 2nd best show and The Ringer is the 3rd.
I started cooking classes a few weeks ago with some friends.
I am officially old because in the past few weeks I've gone to a cooking class, a bunko party and my book club meeting.
I saw this picure and nearly died. He cut his hair. So sad.
Had a great girls day that included shopping, massage and Footloose with the BFFs. Loved it.
So excited for Egg Nog lattes.
I am so sick of hearing about Kim Kardashian.

Smallwood Farms.

We had a family day and spent it at Smallwood Farms in Leavenworth. We got pumpkins, drank egg nog lattes, rode in a tractor ride, put apples in sling shots (which was soo much fun). Then headed to town, got hot dogs, ice cream and walked around Leavenworth. Fun family day. I love fall. It's my favorite season!

We went to Suncadia's Harvest Festival a few weeks back. Fun and free! Travis was in Vegas for a bachelor party, so I braved the event alone, with 3 kids. Wahoo! Its was a success and I came home and immediately started drinking...seriously. I had to quit my cleanse I was doing because I couldn't give up wine. Anyways, the festival is a yearly event we go to every year. The weather's been amazing this fall so far. Sunny and warm!

My baby is growing up. She's 16.5 months now. She's talking more, Mama, dada, baba, hot, hi, bye, bath, belly, etc. Getting 6 teeth right now. Loves to be a "big" kid. Naps like a champ. Sleeps at night like a champ. Eats everything. Still a Mama's girl. Holds her own around the big kids. Sits on the potty on a daily basis and I wouldn't be surprised if she's potty trained within the next few months. (I am totally bragging on this because I deserve it!). Such a big girl. And, she's still only 21 pounds. Still fits into 9 month clothes, but has the biggest feet! Loves to read. And really loves her dolls.

Go buy them now. Super easy, no mess, not smelly or streaky. Amazing. Perfect for traveling and right in time as your summer tan is probably starting to fade. They are a self tanner wipe that are really easy to apply and one wipe can get a lot of coverage. I used one wipe for my face, chest, arms and legs. You can buy them at Sephora, Amazon or Nordstrom.

Little Country Preschool.

I can't even begin to explain the excitement I had for the twins to begin school. First off, I LOVE back to school season. Growing up, I always looked forward to a new school season and now luckily I get to live vicariously through the twinnies. Secondly, I get a break, Tues and Thurs from 9-11. Those mornings are so hectic. I need to start getting ready at 7am to get everyone fed/dressed and out the door by 8:40am. It's quite the ordeal. I am so proud of the twins. They love school and enjoy going every time. They love it when I pick them up and they show me their little projects. It's amazing. Also, I get 4 hours a week with just Violet. 1 baby! We run errands or go running. Anyways, life is getting back to normal. I am kinda happy to see summer gone. I like having a routine. Kelsey, our beloved babysitter, is back to her normal schedule (OMG, did I miss her this summer) She comes in a few days a week, so I can meet with my trainer, go to the gym and have some "me" time.

Presley started dance class last week. She loves it. I just love that she enjoys being involved....because Cash does not. He's socially awkward, as I like to say. He's not quite ready for organized activities. I can't wait until the recital in June. She's fully equipped with her dance class attire, as we are up our elbows in tutus and tights here in the Gibson house.

So a few months ago, Travis told me I wasn't fun. Truth is, I probably don't seem fun, but I want to be. I am just so tired all the time. I like to go to bed at 9pm. I LOVE my bed. I LOVE my shows. I hate staying out late, because I always suffer the next day, reguardless if I have been drinking. I feel like I can't drink coffee fast enough in the morning. So, anyways, back to my "I am no longer any fun anymore", I've been making attempts to be "more" fun. Last Thursday morning, I thought it'd be a super fun plan to head up to Suncadia and spend the weekend, so we could enjoy this 90 degree weather poolside. Well, we did it. We booked 1 bedroom suite with a kitchen and headed up Friday afternoon. And...we had so much FUN!

It's been pretty hot here in Ellensburg. I, as in myself with 3 kids, packed them up and headed up to Lake Cle Elum. They have a perfect beach for kids. Lots of sand, real open so you can keep your eye on them, and you can drive your car on the sand, so it's super easy to load/unload the kids.

Well, I've been a bad blogger. It's summer and I just don't have time, nor the energy to do so. Little baby V, actually not so little....15 months now, has turned a new leaf. She's no longer sweet as apple pie 24 hours a day like she was before, as she has now gotten a little attitude. She's sweeet, but also let's herself be heard and has acquired a new little sassy side. Growing up too fast. She's part of the pack now, following Cash and Presley, wanting to do everything they do.

Dr. Jart is the best full coverage/spf containing moisturizer I've used. I love it! Now, that I am getting old, I refuse to look old, so I've been really into improving my skincare regimen. With the high spf, I don't have to worry about sunscreen.

This was a sample in a previous Sephora package I got. I used the sample once, then immediately ordered it online. I use it over my tinted moisturizer, Dr. Jart, and it gives me a good sunkissed color. It makes my skin feel like satin. It dries to look like a powder finish, rather than a dewy look. When I use these 2 products together, I feel like I hardly have any makeup on.

Foster the People This entire CD is good. Love it. It reminds me of the summer I lived in San Diego going to the Belly Up in Solana Beach listening to music. Oh, the days where you could just pack up and move to California for the summer because you have nothing else to do. Ahhhh, kinda missing those carefree days.

Rio is being played on repeat at our house. Kids are obsessed. They know the whole movie by heart. If the movie isn't playing, the soundtrack it. Super cute!

If you haven't been there, it's amazing! Trav won first prize in a golf tournament and had a $250 gift card. Wahoo. Gotta love a free dinner:)) Love it there!

I am loving my new floors, so the Swiffer Vac has replaced my love for my carpet cleaner. Have I mentioned how amazing wood floors are?

I stumbled upon this website, Birchbox. You pay a monthly fee of $10 and you get a package once a month with 4-5 beauty samples ranging from skincare, makeup, makeup tools, etc....I order a lot from Sephora and I love how you can add samples to your order and try new products. It's even better when you find something you can't live without. It's like a surprise grab bag that shows up on your porch and you can't really argue with a $10 price tag.

These saddle shoes for Presley's first day of school. In a dress, with ruffle ankle sockes. When I was little, I was obsessed with the 1950's. I listened to the music, watched all the movies that took place in the 50's (Grease and Peggy Sue Got Married to name a few), and wanted to wear poodle skirts and saddle shoes so badly. Weird, I know. Anyhow, these shoes are the most adorable shoes ever and I won't let Presley wear them until school starts because I don't want her to scuff them.

Pretty Little Liars. This is my favorite show. If you haven't watched this show at all, go out and rent the first season. I love it. Abc family is one of my favorite channels. They have the best shows. I know, I am 32 and I watch abc family. I love it.

It's been a busy summer so far, that is my excuse for the lack of blog posts. My other excuse is that I am just lazy and don't feel like taking the time to upload. And the third excuse is I left my camera at my dad's house that has lots of fun pics. I finally got a super cool phone. I've always been a bit behind in technology. I hate complicated phones. I really just need to text and call people. But, since Violet dumped my ghetto circa 2008 phone in a glass of water, I was forced to belly up and get a new phone. Don't ask me what kind, all I know is I can take good pics, get on the internet and it's super confusing to get any contacts in.

Travis and I headed to Portland a few weeks ago, with our good friends the Burtnesses. We ate, shopped, ate more, drank some, and enjoyed no kids for a few days. It was such a wonderful time. Travis and Ross had a work meeting, so Abby and I shopped. Shopping in Portland with no kids and no tax is dangerous. Abby used to live there and Ross works down there quite a bit, so they knew all the fun places to go. We had to most delicious sushi dinner ever! So, it was fun to catch up.

Between camping, Portland, and Chelan, we've been gone a lot. Today it's pouring down rain and I have so much laundry to get done. I am having a garage sale this weekend, so I have been piling stuff in garage. Everything must go. I am even selling my kitchen table. We are getting new floors in next week and ripping out all the carpet. I am so beyond excited! Also, we are getting some built in shelving in the dining room.

Anyways, all is well. Kids still drive me nuts, house is still messy and I've yet to shower before 4pm.

Travis finally took off some time from work and we went to Chelan. I invited our good friends, the Tharaldson's and had so much fun. We played on the beach, in the pool, went blueberry picking, tasted wines, and had a blast! Now it's back to reality and 10 loads of laundry.

Such a fun time. We got back on Saturday and realized the Presley had left her bunny under the bed. So, on Sunday, we hopped in the car and drove back to Chelan to pick it up. Luckily our neighbors here in Ellensburg are renting a house right on the beach for the summer, so we spent all day Sunday playing in the 90 degree weather!!

We packed up the family last Sunday and headed to The Sleeping Lady Resort in Leavenworth. It's back on Icicle Road and a few miles from Leavenworth, right on the river. The food served is all organic and healthy. They have a pool and tons of little pathways to walk/ride bikes on. We were headed to Chelan on Monday, so it was perfect. Travis has a house he's building in Leavenworth, so he needed to stop and check on it.

Travis and I put the kids to bed, bought a bottle of wine and played Scrabble by candlelight on the front porch, we felt like such a old couple. (I am currently obsessed with Words With Friends on my Ipad.) It was such a nice way to start the week.

Camping!

I successfully made it through a full weekend of camping! We went up in the Teanaway, which is by Cle Elum, so only about 40 minutes away from our house. Our campsite was next to a river, which had a great sandy beach. We spent all day Saturday in the sun, on the beach. The kids played in the sand and water, while I got to relax on the beach.

Our camper and Travis's new truck, which he bought last week. It's so nice. Our camper is a 2004 and sleeps 10. It has a shower/bath (so I got to shower and so did the kids), toilet, oven, stovetop, sink, heat/ac, microwave, fridge, and tv/dvd player, so we definately aren't roughing it.

The front pops out, so it's a king size bed.

Morning time. The kids got up at 6am both mornings. I was good and went to bed at 11pm, where as Travis stayed up till 3am.

I have to admit that I had such a great time! It's nice to relax with the family and Travis didn't have a phone or email access all weekend, so that was a blessing!

On Saturday we went to the Cougar Mtn Zoo in Issaquah. It's a small zoo, so it's perfect for little kids. I feel like I could've done it my myself and the kids.

The kids had so much fun feeding the animals and running around. A great way to spend the afternoon!

We celebrated my brother's fiance (Yes! my little brother is getting married!!!!!) Julie's graduation from UW. Cashy man loves his ice cream. He's been getting a lot of treats lately because he's almost gone a week without any accidents....it's probably too early to say he's completely potty-trained, but clearly we are on the right track. I consider this my biggest accomplishment to day. Screw the college degree, potty training twins should have some sort of medal/certfication. Wahooo.....1 child in diapers. I've never had 1 child in diapers. Hopefully Violet will potty train at 18 months, that gives me 5 more months of diapers....(let's hope/pray!)

Life As I Know It.

I love talking to my mommy friends comparing stories of how we fail as parents. I like to give the impression that I am "super mom"...doesn't everyone? You look at people's blogs and you think...."oh, they look like they have such a perfect life. She looks like such a good mother." etc. I do it all the time. Looking at Enjoying the Small Things. , makes me so envious. She looks like a perfect mom. I want that. I want play dates at the Isle of Capri and I want to play in her pool everyday. The other night, I was looking at her blog on my new super cool Ipad (EVERYONE should buy one!) anyways, Travis asked, "Why do you think she is so cool?" I just said, "She just looks like she can do it all. I want that!"

I have good days and I have bad days. Like last week for example, was 5 days of BAD days....in a row. Bad days that included a dog eating my retainer, which led to a orthodontist appointment with 3 kids, then the dog vomitng in my car. I literally pulled the car over and threw her out of the car, so she wouldn't puke on my leather interior. I did this 4 times on the way home. That same night, I accidently left her outside all night. Ooops. Poor Lucy.

Cash is still a potty training mess. And by mess, I mean he shits his pants EVERYDAY. So, how the hell do I clean that up? I just throw the underwear away. It's so annoying. Where as Presley doesn't even wear pull ups to bed and she's only had 2 accidents.

I finally broke down and put the twins in the Fred Meyer daycare It's such a fabulous idea. I got to grocery shop in peace. It was lovely. The next day they both had 103 temps and Cash vomited all over his bed. But I still think it was worth it.

So far this morning Cash has eaten, yogurt, cereal, 2 pieces of pb&j toast, grapes, strawberries, 3 nutrigrain bars and a bowl of cheeze its....I guess that is probably why he poops his pants.

Presley and I spent a hour last night dancing to The Temper Trap in the kitchen. I love these moments. I love our daily dance parties!

I started working out with a trainer 4 weeks ago. She's amazing. I see ab muscles again. It's nice to be told what to do for my workout. It's my "free" time. I have actually been enjoying being in pain when I wake up in the morning. It's hard to get your body back after babies. With Violet, I breastfed for a year and that just doesn't allow you to tighten up as fast. I dropped the weight fast, but I really needed to tone up. So, I started with boot camp on Monday and Wednesday's at 6am, then I started seeing Lindsay on Thursdays.

Anyways, the summer is going to be busy. I can't wait!

A few weeks ago, we celebrated my sister-in-law Shelley's, 40th birthday. We rented a bus and went from winery to winery in Tri-Cities. They have some amazingly beautiful wineries and we've decided to make it an annual event...maybe even inviting the boys next time!! So much fun! It was a nice way to celebrate and spend some much needed time away from the kids. I know I say it all the time, but I am so lucky to have married into such a great family!

My mom went to the east coast and brought home V a little crabby hat. It's the cutest little sun hat. We had a week full of sunshine and spent many hours outside:)) Instead of drawing with the chalk, V ate the chalk. She eats everything! Just the other day, she picked up a dead spider and was starting to put it in her mouth and Cash took it from her saying, "No baby Violet!" He's such a good big brother!

We celebrated this past Sunday at Bounce Central. The kids ran arund and had so much fun. Violet was such a good little birthday girl. She was such a good little cake eater, she didn't even need a bib..she's such a girl. I can't believe it's been a year. This has been quite a bittersweet birthday for me. I am so sad that my baby is growing up and often I find myself actually wanting another baby. I think I am just in love with the baby stage. Violet Olivia is 1!!

I can't believe it's my 4th Mother's Day. I have learned in order to have a good Mother's Day, you need to be very specific on what you want to do. You can't leave it up to the husbands to plan something. So, this year I did just that. I was easy though...only a few requests. I wanted to sleep in, get breakfast in bed, do something fun all together and then I wanted to go to a movie by myself. To me, that is a perfect day! Travis delivered. I got to sleep in until 9:30am. He brought me breakfast in bed and a good breakfast too...eggs, cottage cheese, soy sausage and coffee. Then, he surprised me and bought me a bunch of Stella and Dot jewelry. 2 pairs of earings, a necklace, a bracelet and a ring! I was so surprised beacause I didn't expect gifts. Then we went up in the hills to go hiking, then I went to go see Something Borrowed.

Packed a lunch and went for a hike. The kids had so much fun running around.

Ellensburg had some amazing weather yesterday. We took advantage and went fishing. Cash caught his first fish!! It was a tiny little sun fish, but he did it all by himself. So proud of the little guy. We packed a picnic and hung out in the sun. I underestimated the sun and should have brought hats with us, as we all are a little rosy today. Oh well...at least it's some sort of color!

Well...Nemo, the fish, made it 2 weeks in the Gibson house. Presley was quite traumatized. I was actually quite sad also. Travis did the honors in flushing Nemo to fishy heaven. We're on to Nemo II and so far, he's lasted 2 weeks.

Did anyone watch American Idol last night? What is up with Iggy Pop? He's an obvious reason why people should not do drugs. I was so surprised that Pia got sent home. I voted 15 times the night before for Scotty, Paul and Allison.

I found a empty box of lemon girl scout cookies behind the couch this morning...I found Cash's stash.
We spent the morning at the park today with a few mommy friends and kiddos. The sun is shining and am loving it.

I am still sore from Wednesday.
My new goal is to get the laundry room organized. I haven't folded laundry for 2 weeks. We've just been rotating the same clothes. Travis stays up till 3am to work, but I can't seem to fold laundry. I fail.

She's growing up too fast. I wish I could press pause and keep her at this age forever! This girl is just like her momma...she LOVES to eat! She had said farwell to babyfood (she hated it) and now eats whatever we do. She only has 3 teeth, but does a good job. So far she loves, yogurt, cheese, soy sausage, french fries, grilled cheese, fruit, black beans, and girl scout cookies!

Is it bad to want to put your child on craigslist? The sad part is, is that I'd think I wouldn't even put a pricetag on him (I am talking about Cash, of course). I'd list him as FREE! Even then I'd doubt I'd get any takers. This child will for sure put me in the looneybin.
So everyone who thinks the "terrible two's" are bad, is obviously nobody that has had a 3 year old.

I woke up at 6am to torture myself at bootcamp. I don't think I'll be able to get out of bed tomorrow.

We finally bought the twinnies a swingset from Costco. It's sitting on the front porch in 6 boxes with a 96 page manual on how to put it together.....anyone want to come help my poor husband put it together?

Violet at an entire grilled cheese sandwich. All by herself. She loves loves loves food, so much she may break out of the 5% for weight.

Speaking of summer.... it was snowing this morning as the bootcamp instructor was making us sprint around the parking lot.

I swear I clean. I sometimes feel like it's all I do. The cleaning ladies were here yesterday and this is what my house looked like this morning. 3 kids under the age of 3...holy hell it's a lot of work. I can't even begin to describe it. I feel like all I do is prepare meals. In the morning, it's breakfast, feed them, clean up, then they want snacks. Then it's lunch time, clean it up, then they want snacks. It's dinner time, I make it, clean it up, then they want snacks. I NEVER get to sit down and enjoy my meal. Then the dogs need food. Then Travis comes home, makes a mess and somehow doesn't know how to clean up after himself. He's like a giant child. I am constantly picking up after him also. On top of feeding them, I am constantly changing diapers or taking one to the potty. Then I have to get them all dressed and don't even get me started on laundry. It's ridiculous. Ahhh...it's Wednesday and Kelsey comes this afternoon! Thank goodness.

The dogs don't leave this poor girl alone when she's eating. She's already very good at sharing her food with them, which is probably the reason they don't leave her alone.

Before I had kids, these dogs were my kids. I was obsessed with them. Now, I sometimes consider putting them on Craigslist. Kidding...sorta. Poor Lily and Lucy.

I was thinking of ways to display the kiddos artwork. I was looking at these at The Land of Nod. So, instead of spending the money, I modge podged glitter to clothes pins and strung them up in the playroom. Now the kiddos can display their artwork!
