New Stats.

The twinnies 2 year well baby check was this morning and I amazed myself and successfully went ALL by myself, since Travis had a client meeting over in Seattle today. All the nurses oohed and aahed over the twinnies, as they have gotten soooo big and obviously are soooo cute! It was an early morning for us today, Cash decided he wanted to get up at 4am, then minutes later Presley thought she'd join us. Cash has been trying to get over a bad cough for the past month and the poor little man couldn't stop coughing this morning.

Cash: 30 lbs 75% for weight and 36 inches and 90% for height
Presley: 25 lbs. 25% for weight and 32 inches 20% for height

The dr. said most likely double their heighth and that's what they'll be when they are full grown. So, Cash might be 6 feet tall, which I am super excited about bc unfortunately his daddy is only 5'8.

My little peanuts also of course hit all the milestones and I am quite proud of them. They are turning into be such smart, independent and perfect little people! I love them with all my heart. I am also impressed with myself. This time has just flown by so fast, I feel like a lot of the time I don't take enough time to really soak it up and enjoy it. Since day 1 I have been on survival mode. Learning to take care of two infants and how to be a mom is a tough job! It's funny how your mother nature just kicks in, that, and many hours spent reading books and being on the internet. I remember crying in bed in the beginning, telling Travis that I wished the babies were back inside me and that I didn't know if I could do it. Many times I have busted out the ear plugs or relied on the swing at 3am to put them back to sleep. I can't even tell you how much money I have spent on "D" batteries or the amount of times I have driven frantically to Fred Meyer to restock. The "binky" or "mee mee" as the twins call it, has been a staple in their mouths and let me tell you...it ain't coming out anytime soon. I love it that all my girlfriends are having babies and 95% of all of conversations are about kids and learning about their tricks. If it weren't for my friend Courtney, I'd be lost. I basically have just copied her for the past 2 years.

I truely believe that each child/pregnancy is a blessing. A gift from God. When you become a parent you are given the opportunity to have the most amazing gift and it's up to you to become the best parent you can be. So, thank you Presley and Cash...you have been the best little twinnies a mother could possibly ask for and have given me the opportunity to really feel what love feels like.
