Thanksgiving Weekend!

We had such a great and relaxing Thanksgiving weekend! I can't believe Christmas is right around the corner. I am going to spend today decorating, however I am confused at how to do the tree this year, since everything is a chew toy to the twins.

We ventured over to my mom's on Thursday morning. I had gotten sick on Wednesday, so I wasn't feeling very good:( We had such a lazy day and I was asleep by 8:30pm. The twins were on their best behavior and had such a good night sleep! Friday, I went and saw Twilight for the 2nd time (yes, I am obsessed!) and did a little shopping....Gymboree and Baby Gap were having such a good sale. I didn't feel bad bc Travis was at Sears buying himself tools....he's on a kick to fix up his '69 Bronco. Saturday we went back to Ellensburg to spend some time with Travis's family. Then Sunday (today) I will start to decorate for Xmas, which we'll be spending at home!

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!

Next weekend, Travis and I are having our 1st night together away from the babies. We are going to Portland to celebrate Travis's good friends birthday. I am excited to do some tax-free shopping! Yea......

A Few Cute Ones.....

Seriously....he puts EVERYTHING in his mouth!!!!

Thanksgiving!!!!!

We spent Thanksgiving with my mom. The twins sat at the table like "big kids" and LOVED the food! They didn't want to stop eating! They loved the turkey, jello, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, rolls, pumpkin bread, and pumpkin pie!!! Luckily, they didn't get sick eating it all either! Even the next day they enjoyed the leftovers! I had gotten a cold the day before, so I was feeling terrible. It was hard for me to taste my food, so sad!!
Mommy and Presley!

Daddy and Cash after eating too much food!

This year I had so much to be thankful for! I have two amazing and perfect little babies and such a wonderful family! I am the luckiest girl in the world!

New Fun!

Cash's new favorite activitiy is climbing up the sliding glass door, then banging on the glass. Presley rarely joins him, but this was a rare occasion. So cute. Babies in PJs...my favorite. You can see how much taller Cash is than Presley. He is climbing on EVERYTHING!

A little bit of BabyLeg heaven.....

BabyLegs are the cutest little leg warmers for babies. Presley has a few pairs and just loves them. Also, Desitin was the best chew toy that day, it kept her occupied for a while.
Presley almost has the splits down!! She's close.....

Bath Time!

The twinnies took their first bath together this weekend at Gma & Gpa's house! They loved it. Presley just sat and played the entire time and of course Cash thought it be fun to crawl all over the bath, knocking Presley over, I thought he was going to drown himself! He almost gave me a heart attack. It's such a chore giving one baby a bath, two was exhausting! At this point it is not a one person job. Needless to say....just when I thought they couldn't get any cuter, they did!

Party Time!

The twins went to their first birthday party on Saturday. Ryder turned 1, so we helped celebrate. The twins had so much fun playing with toys, balloons and they had their first piece of cake! They loved it. It was like feeding baby birds and they cried when there wasn't any left!

Cash LOVED this dump truck so much! I think Santa might have to get him one!

Party animals! Presley actually kept her hat on for most of the party.

Weekend at Grandpas!

We spent Thursday-Saturday morning at my dad's, so Maureen and him could spend some time with the babies, since they are growing like little weeds. Luckily, Cash and Presley were both perfect little angels and had such a good time! Is he too close to the TV?? He crawls up on everything and loves to stand. He also loves cartoons! This is a perfect way to watch Saturday morning cartoons! Cash actually stood by himself finally. I know it won't be long before he's walking!
Jumpers! Grandma and Grandpa's house is so much fun with jumpers and new bean bags!

Looking outside!

Getting kisses from Daddy!

Big Girl!

A new favorite activity....crawling on and off the bouncer!

Tag...I'm IT!

I was tagged to post my 4th picture from my 4th file. Here is it! Daddy with (to be honest) I can't tell which baby this is! I guess that is what happens when you get two babies. I actually think it might be Cash. I can't believe how small they are back then! This pictures was taken in the hospital on Valentines Day....what a great way to celebrate the most romantic day of the year!
So, anyone who has a blog and is reading this...your tagged. Post your 4th pic in 4th picture file!

Weekend Fun!

Yesterday was their 9 month appointment. I met my friend Courtney for coffee, then came home at 1:30 to pick up Travis for the appointment. To my surprise my bff Cindy came over from Seattle with a fun weekend planned! First up.....help me go to the dr. appt with the babies!
It is such a fiasco to take two babies to the dr., so I was thankful for some help!

Cash weighed 20.8 lbs and was 28.5 inches long, and in the 50% for both height and weight.
Presley weighed 17.5 lbs and was 27 inches long. and in the 25% for both height and weight.

After the appointment, both Cindy and I were exhuasted trying to hold down both babies. We settled down with some treats and Lipstick Jungle!

Next was a spa day for 3 hours on Saturday. We got full body scrubs, massages, foot soaks, and we sat in the sauna, which is supposed to burn 500 calories, and drank mimosas.

Then, we are going to a nice dinner with some of my girlfriends.

So fun! She's staying until Monday. Of course Travis lucked out with a weekend away to go hunting before the season ends! FYI....for any guys out there that have babies and want to get a weekend away to go hunting......pay for your wife to go to the spa, have her friends over, and make babysitting arangements!

I LOVE him and Cindy! I am so lucky to have such wonderful people in my life!

Modge Podge of Pics....

I just love it when they get down with their bath. You can see cash's drool hanging from his chin, this is a normal occurance.
Presley is starting to give cheesy smiles. This is my favorite. She sticks her tongue out and kind of snorts at the same time.

The twinnies got their new "big kid" car seats! I don't know how these will fit into my car, I desperately need a new and bigger car. I am still trying to figure out how I will get by without their infant carriers. I don't know how I will go grocery shopping now. I guess I'll have to upgrade to the cart that has the car attached with the two seats for kids, which I know is germ infested. So, 'll be the mom spraying it down with lysol.

Presely is obsessed with computers.....she's Nine Pine's secretary!
Since the babies are getting so big and so good at standing up, we had to lower their cribs. It's such a crazy feeling, watching the babies grow. I remember when they used to sleep together in the same crib!

Last weekend we had cousins, Lacey and Shelby over to play. It was so cute to watch them all play together. When Lacey had to leave she cried and didn't want to leave. That was a weird bc I have never had a fun house for kids and now I do! I have toys EVERYWHERE! I used to pick them up every night, but what the point now.....now I just need a bigger house!

Sissy bear.....always full of smiles!

Cash wants to pull himself up on everything! I am so excited to start getting rid of all my baby stuff! I am passing my swing down to Alison this weekend!! Goodbye swing! I remember back when I couldn't live without my swing.....

9 months!

Presley and Cash are 9 months old today!!!
They have their 9 month appt on Friday, so I don't know how much they weigh. I put Cash on our scale and he's at least 20 pounds and Presley is probably a pound behind him. He's so long and she's at least a few inches shorter.
Both babies are crawling EVERYWHERE! Cash army crawled for a while, but he's got it down now and is crawling perfect, as well as Presley! I am running after them ALL day long. They are into everything! Cash loves going into Daddy's office and chewing on his house plans, computer cords, bills, etc. We are currently using our formal living room as his office and we are enclosing it and putting french doors to make it a den. I remember when I couldn't wait for them to start crawling and now I take that back!!
They are pulling themselves up on the furniture, their jumpers, and activity centers. They are both getting good at balancing, so I know it's just a matter of months before they are walking.
Presley has two bottom teeth and the two top ones are starting to come through, however poor little Cashy doesn't have any....he's a boy, so I figure he'll be just a few months behind. It hasn't stopped them from eating though, they both take after mommy and daddy and LOVE food! Pirate's Booty is their favorite (mine also!), so we go through a lot of bags a week! They also love cheese, yogurt, all the fruit and veggies, puffs, yogurt bites, oh, and they've had a few french fries! I have been very good at making organic baby food and they love it! It's actually quite easy.
Cash has been sick for the past week with a cold. Poor little guy....snotty nose, sneezing and coughing. He's been a trooper and I've been giving him tylenol, rubbing BabyRub on his chest and back at night and he sleeps with a vaporizer going. It's helped. Usually he feels the worst at night, but luckily he's still been sleeping pretty good! We've only had a few bad nights. Presley isn't sick, but she's teething, so she's been having a hard time sleeping. It's never ending with twins. Just when you get them to sleep perfect at night.....teething comes! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh! Ohmigosh.....it's awful! I am sOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO glad I had twins and I can get it over with at once, because having to go through this again, would be terrible! Thankfully last night they went down at 8pm and they got up at 5:30 for a bottle, then back to bed until 8am! So mommy and daddy got a lot of sleep! Yea:)
Overall, they are growing and becoming such busy little bees! It's so much fun to just watch them explore and play with each other. I can't believe 9 months have gone by! They just get cuter and cuter every day and I am so lucky to be their mom!

Our Christmas Card Pic.

So after going through 180 pics, I narrowed it down to one picture for our Christmas card and this is the lucky pic! The babies are always smiling for me when I take their pictures, but the refuse to smile for someone else. So, this is the best that we got....at least they are both looking forward, not pulling my hair and both Travis and I look decent.
Travis and I were just talking about how lucky I am to be able to stay at home with babies everyday. Even though some days it gets hard, I think back on when I did work, (since it's been over a year now) and I quickly realize that being a mom to Cash and Presley is the BEST job in the world! I'll be forever be grateful to my husband, whom at times I don't act like it, (sorry Trav) for allowing me to stay at home and enjoy every moment with the kids. He's such a hard worker, providing for us! Thanks babe! Love love love you to pieces! Especially those nights when I go to bed at 8pm and you work until 3am:)

Just a Few More.....

Family Pictures.

We got our pictures taken last week and we got them back today. There were so many good pictures, I have no idea how I am going to pick. Here are just a few of my favorites.

BFF Forever.

The twins are really starting to play with each other. It's so much to watch them. Everyone always told me that having twins is so nice because they will entertain each other. Now they are starting to get old enough where they do really entertain each other. It's quite entertaining to watch them. Cash continues to pull Presley's hair, crawl on top of her, where she steals his toys. It's priceless. I am so lucky to have had twins!!

Presley....where are you?

Yesterday, Presley crawled behind the couch. It was so funny because she thought she was so sneaky. Little bugger. It's about time for Travis to move the surround sound.....i.e. the cords. That is Cash's favorite toy. I have told Travis a million times to move it so now I just let him pull on it. Serves Daddy right.

Pumpkin Babies

Cash's hair is so unruly. I don't have any idea what to do. I don't want to cut it yet, so I guess it'll have a mind of it's own. I actually did trim the hair around his ears, but as far as the top part.....I have no idea what to do. He has so many callics:)
Presley and her new bow. I have always said that barrets and bows on babies is something I would never do. But, I couldn't resist. At least she has a bit of hair now and is a little older.....

My aunt made us this really cute pumpkin. It's mouth has "GIBSON" engraved for it's teeth. I thought it'd be cute to pose the twins by it. I was getting them ready for our family portrait session that we had on Thursday.

A Bee and a Bug!

Yesterday afternoon we took the kids trick or treating in downtown Ellensburg to all the businesses. They didn't actually get any candy, mostly we just walked around and visited. The twinnies were definately the best dressed!!
The local newspaper had a cute picture backdrop and were taking pictures. So, of course we had to stop by for photo op. The twins were published in today's newspaper!! Such celebrities!

Presley the Lady Bug.

Cash the BumbleBee

At the house before we left. SO cute! I love Halloween. I already can't wait until next year. I already know what I want them to be. A scarecrow (Cash) and Dorothy (Presley).
